Aurifil thread is high quality cotton thread. I have a rather temperamental sewing machine that does not work well with some threads. Aurifil works every time. Not only that, but Aurifil threads leave less lint and fluff than many other brands of thread do, so I don't have to clean out the bobbin area as often. I am definitely a fan.
