I was super excited about a pop socket with suction cups on it. However, it doesn't work. It doesn't have the internal strength/structure to support the weight of a phone while suctioned to a mirror, it will stay suctioned, but the "pop" aspect comes out and your phone will lean forward and not flat to the mirror. There's also a super strong adhesive smell.

I put this on my kindle for reading while laying down, and it works well. I think a kindle is slightly too heavy for the suction cups however, because the device will slide or fall off. The grip itself is strong and seems to be made out of a durable rubber.Application is easy, just a peel-and-stick grip. I recommend!

Loved this octobuddy pop socket combo so much but I’ve used it just over a month and it has ripped. I’ve never had a pop socket do that. Pains me to give something that was so great low stars but it just didn’t last.

Works as advertised and has a great grip on my thin silicone/gel type of case! I did have to pry it off to reposition it after a day or two and still re-stuck just as well. It easily pops in and out and you just push it in until you hear a click if you want it to stay flat as possible while in your pocket. The outer suction cups stick to quite a bit, even a box which was weird, heh.

I’m upset that it wasn’t magnetic but This stick well but I am upset because I specifically put in the search bar for the magnetic one and I automatically bought it thinking it was the magnetic one and I got the one with adhesive , so I can’t take it off to charge my phone which really is annoying. I should’ve sent it back right away instead I wanted to use it because my pop socket broke and I was going nuts without something you know. But then it started ripping in the middle so it’s getting ready to fall apart! I am really disappointed and now it’s too late to exchange it.

This is good in the right situations.The magnets side is rock solid. That thing isn't coming off accidentally. It pulls out into a popsocket'eque design if you want a grip.The suction cups, the main draw, generally do well. It held my phone on the back of my smooth laptop for a bit... but did eventually fall. Even on a glass surface (pc case), a few of the suction cups did start failing within 10 minutes.I'd say that this is great for short term use... and on heights that you wouldn't mind dropping your phone from. Personally, i used this to watch videos while bruhsing my teeth and it's fantastic for that.

This is a nice alternative to pop sockets for a cheaper price. I thought I would really like having the suction cups on the back but I can't place my phone down anywhere without it sticking now. Not knocking or lowering the rating for that, thats what suction cups do. I've found the suction hold iffy though when pressing it to a vertical surface. I wouldn't trust it for that.
