The test parameters of the 18 patterns of the test board are described as follows. Two steps must be performed before testing:
Step 1. Connect the two 20CM SMA to IPEX adapter cables to the NanoVNA-F machine.
Step 2. Recalibrate the machine using the 13 Short, 14 Open, 15 Load, and 16 Thru circuits on the test board, and save the parameters to SAVE 0.

Inside the box ,the NanoVNA-F V2 was made by sysjoint which I am told is an unofficial clone so that is a bit disappointing. I guess I will never update the firmware on it.It seemed to work ok but I am only using it to 900MHz. I found a nice web interface search for "cho45.stfuawsc nanovna" that runs in chrome and connects over USB to a serial com port without any drivers needed that was compatible for viewing larger smith charts and TDR. The web interface can't do the calibration, but can set frequency ranges for viewing results and I see the same data as the LCD display but in more detail.
