this Spectrum analyzer works great and even has a waterfall mode. if you have a radio that doesn’t have these features you really need this. i can spot frequencies being used in one glance to see where people are operating.

Just wanted to say that it's amazing what can be packed into such a small device! Back in the early 1990's I used to use large IFR test rigs to do what this device does. Consider: those IRF rigs used to cost $15K/unit and this is less then $200, well, that's a lot of bang-for-the-buck!The AURSINC TinySA Ultra+ ZS406 Spectrum Analyzer is fun to use and work with. This kit includes a helpful 50W Attenuator, too. So cool!5/5 stars for great engineering and programming!

The TinySA Ultra+ represents a significant upgrade from its predecessors, offering impressive functionality in a portable package. The 4-inch display provides excellent visibility of spectral data, with responsive touch controls and intuitive menu navigation. The frequency range from 100kHz to 5.4GHz covers most common applications, making it versatile for RF development and troubleshooting. The integrated signal generator function up to 900MHz is a valuable addition, effectively making this a 2-in-1 tool that reduces the need for separate test equipment. The hardware version 0.4.6 brings welcome stability improvements, though occasional software updates are still recommended for optimal performance. The included 32GB card provides ample storage for captures and sweeps.Performance-wise, the sensitivity and dynamic range are surprisingly good for the price point. The noise floor is manageable, and the frequency accuracy is reliable enough for most hobbyist and professional applications. The battery life is decent, lasting several hours of continuous use, though it's worth noting that intensive scanning can drain it faster. One minor consideration is the learning curve - while the interface is well-designed, newcomers to RF analysis should expect some time to become proficient. The documentation could be more comprehensive, but the active user community helps fill any knowledge gaps. For anyone working with RF systems, amateur radio, or wireless development, this analyzer offers exceptional value, providing professional-grade features in an accessible, portable format.

The TinySA is exactly what was described. Took it out of the box and made some simple measurements right then. I have their nano VNA too. Like them both. Aursinc has done a great job with these instruments. I’ve upgraded the nanoVNA several times with no problems. I did work in IT with mostly machine control stuff so your ease of doing those upgrades may be different but you can just use them the way the come. Lots of YouTube videos on what to do with them and how. Buy some attenuators so you don’t fry the thing with to strong a signal. Amazon has them too.

Incredibly advanced technology in a small package! Helped me locate the source of RFI that was interfering with my 25 year old garage door opener (LOL - it was my Bitcoin miners), but this will also be quite useful as I'm a ham radio operator SWL fan and IT networking tech, it's so versatile it will even see wifi6 and 7 frequencies. You can link it to a PC also however there are no drivers (yet) for Windows 11, only 10 and earlier. Not an issue as I run 11, 10, 7, XP, Linux and Mac at my house. Heartfelt thanks to the developers from this old fart tech geek! Love it!

The product is an excellent tool, but the first one Amazon sent me was a defective item that had been returned. The "Ultra" mode was already unlocked, and the unit would not pass self-test. The replacement item was perfect!
