Works perfectly, as planned. I use it mostly in my hunting blind. With my rifle always set in position, it reduces any movement that might spook a deer.

I got this unipod for my daughter when we go to the range. She has a hard time shouldering a rifle for more than two or three rounds before needing to readjust. The quality of the monopod is okay. Most of it is plastic, but for the price I expected that. The base isn't as sturdy as I would like if I had bought it for myself. It comes unscrewed way too easily for my liking. The section adjustments are easy, but the knobs to tighten each section really have to be cranked on to get it to stay in the same position for more than 5 rounds. What would make it much nicer is if there were height marks on the tubes so you knew exactly where you were adjusted to so you don't have to keep readjusting every time you use it. I put marks on each section with a paint pen for my daughter so setting it up is faster. She loves using it and her groupings are down to about 3" since starting to use it. She even got a compliment from one of the female range officers. For the price, you can't go wrong in buying it. It fits in the front compartment on my rifle bag very easily. For myself, I would look for something a little sturdier for shooting anything over a .223 round.

i’m trying to minimize movements and noise when deer arrive , this monopod supports my tikka perfectly, I prefers this model over a tripod because the legs, I think they’re excellent and decrease chance of bumping anything when getting ready to shoot, easy to assemble, sturdy enough, lightweight!

I’ve been looking at the various shooting sticks on the market, always dissatisfied. I decided to try this, and it’s incredible. Nice, positively locking feet. The flex/ball attachment at the bottom is great, and can be locked down. Telescoping main body is thick and seems very strong. There’s a wide surface surrounding the mounting stud, which is really nice when using cameras or chronographs. I’m super pleased with it.

Compacts easily. Perfect for a good steady rest. Light weight and can be put on your back pack for out of the way. Just a twist of a knob and can be adjusted to whatever height you need.
