the switch wouldn't actuate when installed. Requires too much travel. Luckily was able to clean the old switch out with carburetor cleaner and it works again. Return costs too much. Write off as a loss.

Poorly constructed. Internal switch broke in only two days after installation. Internal switch was not properly secured and moved up causing backup lamps to remain on all the time.

This was an exact replacement for my 2001 Hyundai accent. I have a 5-speed manual with a 1.5 engine, it took me about 10 minutes and a wrench to get my backup lights to function once again.

Despite several sites saying this part/model number fits my car it doesn't. Might physically fit, but the quick connect is different so will not work for my 03 Hyundai Tiburon GT 6-spd manual transmission. We'll see how the return process goes...

The switch works as it should. Easy to replace - all you need is a deep socket wrench with about 15" extension.
