I bought this to rebuild the boots on my ATV. It worked well. While you are waiting for delivery watch the YouTube videos on how to use it. A lot of good tips out there!

There are no instructions. I found a couple of videos using the same kind of tool and followed them step by step. The tool kept falling apart, the band cutter does not work and honestly has to chance of working due to the design. It's cheap and it does not perform the job it was designed to do. I destroyed one band clamp and had to cut it off. Skip this one and similar cheap tools.

Handle for the cutter fell out, however is usable. The CV clamp pliers leave something to be desired, but they do work. 4 star rating because they are a good value, but if you need them everyday, probably would look for some better options

I only used the one set of pliers, I needed it for a boot repair on an ATV. It did the job. I am sure there are higher quality sets out there, but this was for only =one or a few uses.

The only problem i had with them is they dont cut the band very well. The band will wrap up around the cutter and make it a pain to get loose. Once your free from the cutter/tightener you can cut off the extra and clamp down but it takes alot more time.

Only have use the pliers but you get the boot clamp for the same price as just the pliers at retail stores

I am very pleased with this product. I will admit I have only used the band strap mechanism out of the 2 pack kit I purchased. It worked effortlessly and was pretty easy to use. I did watch a youtube video on how to use it and would recommend that. Also I do think it should come with an Allen key to fit the the bolt that tightens the handles due to the fact that it came loose after using it a few times but I had an Allen key so it was fine. However I feel bad for someone who doesn't cause then you would have to wait to use it.
