Depending on your engine and type of vehicle, the exhaust manifold can either be a set of pipes or it can be a cast iron manifold assembly. Essentially the exhaust manifold takes the burned exhaust gases from the engine's cylinders and ejects the gas through the exhaust system and out through the car's tail pipe. The exhaust manifold gasket seals the surface of the exhaust manifold to the surface of the cylinder head, preventing leaks in the system. Over time, the constant expansion and contraction of the components (caused by constant heating and cooling in the engine), may cause the gasket to leak. These leaks can be hazardous as hot exhaust gases escape and can damage other components in the engine compartment. A leaky exhaust manifold gasket can also impact engine performance. So replace your gasket and regain back lost performance.

The bolts do not fit, as you can see the bolt size is incorrect. The gaskets can work, problem is the mounting holes are for the big bolts. So if used with the correct hardware, the gasket will be misaligned and not last long

I bought this gasket kit for my 98 F150 gasket worked great hardware does not fit. So does it fit a F150 YES and NO. Yes on the gasket no on the hardware

what I Like, look at the gasket provided with the New exaust manifold,( in the picture) it's less 1/2 thick, n floppy !! 2003 Ford F150 4.6,, what did not like , manifold mounting bolt's to FAT !! not giving a 4 or 3 rating, because i did not know, one 4,6 end's with an s, and one with a W, ,, assuming I ordered wrong,, like, super thick !! very solid gasket !! after ran to part's for proper manifold bolt's, My truck sound's NEW !!! of even all the gasket's I looked at,,, at part store,,, they feel like Junk, compared to this one !!!
