The item does face track as I move, and it is nicely compact. The problem is that the remote is missing from my box so this will have very limited, if any use, in my household.

Honestly just needed a simple tripod to hold my phone for my Amazon reviews of clothes. I wanted my entire outfit to be seen without my hand holding my camera being in the way. Never knew I would love the additional features of this tripod SO much! The built-in camera follows me when I move and I love the convenience of the camera clicker that's included. I can even use hand gestures for commands as well. This is pretty much a "smart" phone tripod and it's something I didn't even know existed until now. I'm really glad it showed up in my Vine feed!

This is a clever little gadget that sorta-kinda works and is fun to play with, but ultimately needs work to be worth buying. Its basic function is to be a platform to hold a phone to allow selfie photos or videos. It will follow you around the room in the horizontal plane, and vertical adjustments are manual. This worked fairly well with one person in the picture. It became confused when my spouse and I used it to do a video call- it decides that one person is to be centered and the other is shunted off to the side. The tripod and gimbal are constructed of reasonably sturdy ABS plastic. The tripod has 2 elevation levels, and connects with a standard 1/4" screw fitting so other tripods can be used to support the gimbal. That is a good feature. There are 3 accessories that come with it, and a pouch to keep 2 of them in.One accessory is a remote that allows the phone camera to take a photo or start/stop video recording. This worked well and fits into a recess in the gimbal to minimize risk of loss. It's very small (1.25x3/4x1/2 inch) and may be hard to keep track of, but at least it works. The other 2 accessories would need to be carried in the included fabric pouch or the user's pocket. There is a 3-in-1 receiver that has to be plugged into the phone via Lightning or USB-C port. It also has a 1/8 inch old-fashioned earphone type connector that it calls TRRS- maybe intended for old phones with this port. The manual does not mention this. It's ungainly, with the 3 connectors protruding from different sides. The 3rd accessory is a microphone. It is small and light, clips on to a shirt, for audio. I could not make this mic work. I tried turning off the phone mic, and various orders of activation, to no avail. The device is available without the microphone also, for a lower price. There are 2 instruction sheets provided, each with the unfortunate tiny font and fractured English typical of inexpensive imported electronics. The main gimbal and each of the 3 accessories have USB-C ports for recharging, which would be a real pain for regular use, but probably unavoidable- one thing or another would be out of battery power at any given time.At this point, I would have rated this 3 stars, for cleverness and partial functionality. I tried to contact the seller through the email provided in one of the instruction sheets. It was returned by gmail as undeliverable. I tried a variation, substituting letter o for numeral 0, with similar results. They will have to do better.
