This is very plastic for being as expensive as it is. The “glass” lens isn’t glass, it’s plastic and gets swirl-scratches in it easily. The gauge retention is a plastic thing that will eventually become brittle and fail and it’s too proprietary to replace or make-work when that happens. I like AutoMeter but this isn’t for me. There are old aircraft hour meters out there for way less than this and they exude the quality I sought here.

Great replacement or if adding this guage makes tracking maitnance more effective then just by miles.
