Back windows would not do up. Windows caught on shade. Replaced with surface mounted ones instead.

This is the 3rd vehicle I’ve purchased these for. As with others fit is pretty good but always a few areas that cause minor fit issues. Sometimes windows hit the plastic visor and won’t go up. I prefer in channel visors so I know with external tape on ones this wouldn’t be an issue. They look great installed. Some minor tape issues (not put on the visor straight) but overall these are pretty good.Very important to leave windows up for 3 days as directed for proper adhesion/ fit.

First time buying this type of product from this manufacturer (always bought Weathertechs for all my previous vehicles), as it was half the price of the Weathertechs. Sad to say, i will likely take these off and buy Weathertechs in the near future. The material is thinner and more flexible, which could’ve been a good thing if the fit was perfect. The fit was okay, about a 3.5 out of 5. The fronts were about a 4 of 5, but the rears were off a bit too much for my liking (note my rears were mislabeled left/right).But my biggest gripe was the fact that the double sided tape was so poorly applied. It was so far off the edge that it was visible even though i have the visor pressed up against the frame as hard as i could. This wouldn’t have been too much of an issue if the fit was great instead of just okay.To be fair, I haven’t actually tried the Weathertech version for the exact same vehicle so it’s not apples to apples per se, but on all my previous cars, the fit/finish/overall quality was noticeably better, and i never experienced sny of these issues.I will replace these with Weathertech’s when these no longer stick/get damaged, etc. Although they’re a good value compared to the other brand (practically half price), I would not buy from this manufacturer again, as i am willing to pay the extra premium for the extra peace of mind.

I always like to have my drivers window open a little for fresh air and to hear better when I am driving. As a professional driver it amazes me how quiet and comfortable our vehicles have become. When driving long hours I think you will agree it is important to stay alert... regardless of the weather Auto Vent shades keep the rain and snow out and allows fresh air inside my vehicles... even my International Tractor trailer... window vent shades are great... once you have them installed you can't live without them...

Quick easy installation just like the expensive ones sold by weather tech. Like many reviewers have mentioned the back windows do catch a bit during installation. Just follow the instructions and use a second person to hold the vent visor against the window frame roll the window all the way up and leave it up for 24-48hrs and the problem will be solved. The more expensive ones do the same thing during installation but once they're adhered to the vehicle the windows go up and down flawlessly.

I just put them on my 2018 rav4 going to wait for 73 hours before opening the windows as instructed but for right now I am extremely worried that the windows will not want to glide past the visors while fitting had to have my wife help hold one side out while I held the other side pulling away form the glass in order to close the window.. If after 72 hours it still does the same I will a very angry customer and will be seeking a refund. Obviously they are no use if the windows wont close behind them... I will come back after 72 hours and let you know how I got on. I am truly hoping that I can give a good report and change to 5 stars. Ok I'm back I have left them for the designated amount of time and the windows do open and shut BUT as they pass the visors they emit a loud CLUNK every time as the windows hit them. So be warned windows will close loudly and the double sided tape that comes on the kit lift off the product also when you remove the backing. 3 stars because of the lifting tape and clunking noise on closing the windows. OK so I fitted these in june and now in NOV I find that they have sagged so much so that they're only held on by each end Im about to rip them off and throw them away they're JUNK

These visors fit my 2013 RAV4 LE perfectly. I installed all 4 in approx. 15 minutes. If you need a quick how-to, check out some short videos on youtube. This job is best done with two people. One person to sit in the car to (eventually) close the windows and the other person to install the visors. Open all 4 windows, be sure to use the abrasive pad provided to roughen up the area where you will attach the tape strips. Then wipe the area clean with the little alcohol pads provided. Peel the cover off the tape, then, using both hands, carefully align the visor with the window opening and push the tape strip part of the visor up into the window channel, applying upward and outward pressure, hold it on place for a few seconds. Have the person sitting in the vehicle slowly raise the window. Be sure to get your fingers out of the way before the window is all the way up! Done. Don't open the windows for about two full days to allow the tape to completely stick.I've had these installed for 6 weeks now without any issues. Highly recommend this product.

I have installed auto ventshades on several cars but they were always the surface mount ones. These were the first in-channel ones that I installed. The install process was easy and the instructions were very good. The only difference is you have to leave your windows up for an extended period of time to make sure the adhesive is cured inside the channel. I was concerned a little about the lip of the shade and the window hitting it as you rolled up the window but everything seems to be working fine. I think I like the in-channel install process better than the surface mount type, not because the final product is better but I think there are less things that you could mess up installing them.
