Lots of different connectors. Just make sure that you solder the wire to the connector as just crimping it on it not good enough. I was solving a lot of connectors and missed one of these. The wire pulled out fairly quickly.

Just wanted to obtain some sealed electrical connectors for use in automotive wiring on my cars. These looked like something that would work.I have not yet used them to evaluate them for their ability to form a watertight seal.

Bought these to dress up the wiring to my trailer hitch but even witht the proper crimper the wires still pulled out or would not seat into the plastic part. ended up cutting them out and using inline connedtors with heat shrink to make connections.

For fair review, I even ordered a specialty crimper for these types of connectors. Watched a lot of YouTube on how to properly crimp and assemble these waterproof connectors. Many reviews complain about lack of instructions. At first, I thought that is ridiculous to complain about that...until I actual got my hands on them. I was wrong! Instructions SHOULD be included. Too many small and complicated parts to guess.My crimper has not arrived yet, so I decided to "try" with a needle nose plier as some videos suggested possible. Nope. Not for me. Ruined a few of the pins. So I stopped and waited for the tool to arrive. But I noticed something else in the package. One of the 3-pin connector housing is already broken. The locking tab was bent backwards and it just took a slight nudge from my finger and it fell off. Sign of cheap plastic. These connectors are going to be used for 12V car led lights. I don't have a lot of faith if these will last.When the crimper tool arrived, I got to work. Yes, the crimper made a huge difference. Secured the wire to the pins nicely. But, here's something to be aware of from my experience. I was crimping 14 gauge wire for a 40" LED light bar. Crimps nicely. But there's a 16 gauge wire that I had and it failed to lock in place. Lost about 3 pins trying to crimp 16 gauge. So I doubled the length of exposed wiring, folded it back over and crimped. That worked very nicely. Connection was secure. So, 16 gauge or smaller is not so good or double up on the wire strip.Conclusion: if I could, I would return this and order from some other seller or brand. I've already ruined a few pins and even lost a few pins inside the connectors when I attempted to pull on the wire to test for connection security. Yup, a few slipped right out of the pin and connector after all the work was done. These feel cheap and I do not have a lot confidence for long term quality. I would NOT RECOMMEND these. Pay a little more for something else.

I went to YouTube to learn how to assemble these. It's time consuming to get the wires held in place with the very small tabs, and I'm not sure how water resistant they are. That probably depends a lot on how well I assembled them. Each port is numbered which helps you get the wires in the order you want.By using these I get the wire colors I want, but buying the pre-assembled versions with random wire colors would have been much simpler and faster.

This is just one of the styles of waterproof automotive electrical connecters that you can buy. Like the other styles these are “keyed” to prevent them from being plugged in backwards. Once assembled correctly, and connected they provide a good waterproof electrical connection. The electrical pins are cad plated but adding some anti-oxidant to both the male and female connectors will help keep the connection tight over a long period of time.The rubber gaskets in this kit are well made with good elastic qualities that help to provide a good waterproof seal. While not absolutely necessary the correct pair of crimping pliers will save time and provide the best professional looking results.

I am using this product for rewiring a CJ5. This is an inexpensive product that has seals around all of the wires and connections. I recommend watching a video on assembling them if you have never used them before.The reason for a 4 star review is the crimp connections. They do not roll over and crimp on the insulation of the wire. Everyone of them I have used so far has just flattened out then the ears that should hold the wire by the insulation break off. I am soldering these connections also, so this isn't the end of the world, but I think these could have been better quality then this product would be perfect.

I bought these as quick connects for my cnc because for the time being I have to disconnect the wires a lot and unscrewing them takes too much time so I used these to make it faster. They're honestly pretty confusing to use but a youtube video away will get you going. I've heard you need a special tool for them but all I used was some needle nose pliers and was set. For super secure set up I soldered the wires onto the inserts to guarantee electrical contact. Awesome connections worth the money just wish they inlcuded more.
