Just what was needed. I purchased a kit from a Box store. in said Kit all the parts were plastic, car was leaking again within a month. Ordered this part and installed no more leaking. Do your self a favor and order the Aluminum Coolant Hose Flange. It takes a little work and lubricant to get it seated, but after that you will be good to go.

I had to change out my vacuum pump seals and the housing for the cam chain behind the engine. I had easy access to the original plastic coolant flange and decided to buy this metal one to replace it!Perfect fitBut it did take a lot of strength to connect hoses and the temp sensor. One hose did pop off due to not being completely in all the way. Make sure it goes ALL THE WAY IN

Everything fit great with no leaks. Original plastic piece broke off the collar with the gasket in the rear of the engine block. I cannot see the same problem happening with an aluminum housing.

So far, so good. The only one that fit right, (Audi A4 2.0 Quattro) good price, PITA to replace. Hope it last, don't ever want to do this again!

I was hopeful, skeptical and fearful, all gone now that it installed and everything went together. It is thick aluminum and well made. The bolt holes lined up perfect. There is enough room to install the bolts and use them back and forth to seat the flange (3 turns here - 3 turns there). I am a strong guy (220lbs) and I could not seat it manually, just not enough room to push. Buy silicone grease, it is a must, coat everything in it. You’ll need a new sensor o-ring. A flat stick light is very helpful to see the flange install correctly. Best wishes - lots of YouTube how to videos.
