Amazon “needed more information to guarantee figment” and once completed and ordered- item arrived and would not fit. So once again, fail on amazons figment chart. Also felt lower quality

This valve looks excellent quality but does not fit my 2013 VOLVO XC90 a/c compressor of my VALEO DCS-17EC, I wasted my labor time money at this time when tech found it was wrong part.

Looking at the pump you have your eyes and low side lines mounted to the pump somewhere next to the low side pipe tube will be this black circle not very visible but the size of a quarter nonetheless you have to take the snap ring off, remember to evacuate the system be careful you may collapse the ozone. After I got the snap ring off I found putting a pair of vice grips on the black plastic piece, where the wire goes in. Twisted left to right while pulling eventually it'll pop out depending on how long it's been in there, mine most likely 200,000 miles Volvo XC90.

Okay so my 2014 Volvo XC90’s AC stopped working in the middle of July 2023. It was horrible!!! Texas heat is no joke. I’m now writing this review in October and it’s still going great. I had gone to many shops to see how much they’d charge and lol, no. $1200 - $2300 to replace the compressor. I asked one of these shops if it was the compressor that was the problem or just this valve (thanks internet). They confirmed it was the valve but that they don’t change these out and have to change the entire compressor. My husband watched a YouTube video and was able to install it easily. It was a perfect fit. It works better than before! Super ice cold!

Part needed to fix intermittent A/C . Compressor was good . Must evacuate system, vacuum and recharge. Be prepared to remove Compressor to install, due to old old in place was 15 years old. Have to use dent puller to remove if stuck. Will update as for now Artic air !!!
