All small engines, particularly 2-stroke engines, are much more likely to start with Iridium plugs installed. So unless you are just using the engine as gym equipment for your right arm, plug these in.

Have the full crank two cycle gas powered Ryobi Expand It system. Started giving me problems starting it, and then when I could get it going it would stall out if I let it idle (so had to keep whatever attachment I was using running). The original part I was replacing was the Torch L7RTC, and it took me a while to get comfortable this would work but I took the chance. Happy to report it worked perfect. This plug is slightly longer than the original, but still fit in fine and worked without problems. Starts so easily now, and no issues letting it idle as I move through my yard.

I didn't buy this product on Amazon. I did upgrade the stock Champion RCJ6Y on a 2-stroke leaf blower engine. Engine ran fine and the stock plugs were good and clean and all running on synthetic oil, but running on these iridium plugs it idles noticeably smoother and just sings under WOT. Should go a lot longer between routine plug cleanings.Note that the metal part of the body is slightly longer relative to the Champion plug, and overall length is slightly longer. Also note that the ground electrode protrudes slightly longer than the Champion plug, so be sure to check for piston clearance.Would definitely recommend where a RCJ6Y or RCJ7Y is specified.

I’ve changed all my yard equipment out to these plugs, conveniently every piece of equipment uses the same plug. These make starting everything much easier.

Love these in our Kid Kart with Comer C51 engine. I assume they work great in any small engine that they are the correct heat range for, but they are our go to plug for kart racing now.
