How to clean the automatic chicken waterer?

The O-rings for the waters don’t seat the right way and causes a lot of of leaking… I’m guessing an engineering issue…. I use some RTV sealant to do the job…. It does the job if it’s not leaking…. I wouldn’t recommend.

The cups leak. It will not stand on its legs, unless you have it strapped to something. Don’t expect it to be freestanding. It also feels very thin and flimsy not sure it will last long. The float valve does work and it connects to a 1/2 riser. There is an adapter in the box for other sizes, but I have not used them. On the other hand it was cheaper than buying a float valve and cups and assembling them into a 5 gallon bucket. The cups don’t come off for cleaning and that is a mistake you have to flush or wipe them out. And in 1 day they where already silting up.

Bought 3. Only 1 worked. Hoses machined wrong. Holes not cut in one. No quality control. 1 for 3 so far, but that one does the job. If you get one that works it will be great. If the hoses were clamped wrong don't believe the lie that more plumbing tape will help! If it is what you need, but several and return the duds. If you're in a hurry like I was, pay more for something you xan get a replacement for immediately. One has been watering 100 chickens.

Very easy to assemble and use. The only reason I give it 4 stars is it was missing the adapter for the hose so we had to go buy one. Other than that, great product!
