tem:Automatic Drip Irrigation Kit, 8W Solar Irrigation System for Garden with Digital Programmable Timing Modes, Automatic Watering System Take Care Your Plants**Heading:** Leverage your rain barrel to keep your garden properly watered on a automatic schedule.**Background:** We have a small vegetable garden on the south side of our house and there is a large rain water collection barrel right next to it. I've always struggled to best get the water out of it the garden. I’ve drip water systems before, but those were hooked up to a garden hose and your house water supply.**Build Quality:** The solar panel and the pump seem like they're decent quality and the hose and all the attachments are what I expected. It seems well designed. There's a nice filter basket for the water pick up.** Assembly:** Assembly is really easy you just mount the pump control unit above your water source and then they give you a little spike amount the solar panel somewhere closer to the ground. I give you a bunch of connectors so you can water multiple pots or plants at the same time.**Function:** So the pump is actually quite strong. It's definitely more than I expected. The only thing that is a pain is programming. I would've rather paid a little more and have some kind of Bluetooth and a app. It's a little confusing toggling through everything but once you got programmed, it works really well.**Conclusions:** I really like this thing it's got a really strong pump. It's the fact that it's wireless and as a solar panel is a huge bonus as I don't have electricity on that side of the house. Programming is cumbersome, but once you get it dialed in, it should be good. I just set this up so I can't confirm the durability but it seems well made and the hose dippers are easily replaceable.

Nice drip irrigation system. I have it in a 1 gallon bucket watering 5 plants and it has lasted over a week so far. I put 2 probes in each plant because the pots are big and the soil has remained perfectly moist so far and its been over 85° and the plants are in full sun from 7am to 7pm. Much easier then the glass balls that you fill with water. The solar panel is smaller so its not too obtrusive. Everything is outside, it does say its waterproof and so far so good. If I were to nitpick i might say the green readout on the pump is a little too bright but that's trying hard to find a fault. The plants are happy, which is great considering we tend to forget to water things sometimes. The bucket did get down below the water level sensors and it did kick off so that part functions as expected. The value is decent, considering how much easier it is to fill a single bucket once a week instead of having to manually water the plants manually with a watering can. Overall, this product fu actions as expected, makes watering several plants much easier, doesn't need a power outlet and has a decent value making it a 5 star option, in my opinion. If I were to make one recommendation for improvement I would say that it would be great to add several soil moisture probes so it could sense the moisture of the soil and water when needed, instead of just very slowly pumping water on a constant basis, however, I'm sure this would add significant cost and it may not be worth it since it seems to work perfectly fine as is. Genuine good stuff here.

I like the solar panel for those power outages. You can water up to fifteen plants at once and adjust how much water each plant gets. This system makes it much easier to take care of the plants and also allows me to leave the house for long periods of time without having to have someone water my plants. System is working great.

Honestly, it's kinda weak, additionally, the pumping unit started leaking a few days ago . Quality poorUpdate. It started pumping water into itself and is now fried ... Wow

I have a couple other systems similar to this automatic drip irrigation system and i have also installed (myself) a full drip irrigation system for my vegetable garden. I feel like I know what works and doesn't and what is a quality product. First, the programmable timer seemed well made and easy to understand. The tubing and connectors were well made and similar to ones I've purchased for my regular garden drip system. What is cool is that this is solar, although it also has a battery backup. I live in the pacific northwest and we have a lot of cloudy days so the backup will be great. I intend to use this in the outside pots as a container garden drip system so tahtw hen I am away I will know the pots will still get watered.

We had a few flower pots in our yard that were in an area without water or power access and always suffered when we were out of town (the whole rest of the yard has automated watering). This solar powered watering kit is exactly the solution I was looking for! As a start we are using a 5 gallon home depot bucket as the water source, but the search for something more attractive has started. The cable between control unit and solar panel is at least 10 feet long, so there is a good bit of flexibility on where to position either one of them, the set up itself is pretty straightforward - you just need to decide where you want the solar panel and how many drippers you want where, and then cut the watering tubes accordingly. The controller provides quite a range of timer options, either several times per day or every so many days - again pretty straightforward. Very happy with this unit and finally being able to have some plants in this area of our yard!
