Had a easy time installing. Use the tape on all threads and even on the ones with sealer installed. Set at 5 sec blast every hour. Tank and lines have never been drier.

This compressor drain automation keeps your tanks free of water condensation. It has a valve that is controlled by a timer to purge the water from your tank constantly. This timing is selectable from 10 to 50 minutes and the duration is adjustable from 2 to 10 seconds. Your waste water is then directed by a hose you supply to whatever destination you choose, sewer drain or bucket or wherever. The con I am still working out is the system is plugged into the wall and always on. It has no sensor to control it to run only when you are using the compressor. So be aware this needs to have a switch so it can be turned off when not in use. The other issue I have is there is not a designed mounting system or array of options included. So you will need to be creative. The build quality seem pretty robust with a powerful solenoid and heavy brass fittings. The control module is sealed and laid out in a logical manner.

Fittings will provide installation flexibility. We will be installing on a 60 gallon secondary tank to remove compressed air moisture. The unit and adapters all seem to be good quality, over time will see how consistent the operation is compared to another brand on our main 80 gallon tank.

Going to be returning this thing as it got hot and started smoking almost caught on fire.
