My husband found this to be a time saver for installing lug studs. He found that it worked well. Previously he installed a lug stud by running an open-end lug nut against a thick washer. This worked but it takes a lot more frictional force and it would score up the face of the hub.My husband found that this tool took away a lot of the frictional losses, making it much easier to pull the lug through the face of the hub. It held up well, and is definitely worth using as a time saver.
