As you can see in the pictures, these are a great upgrade over the stock backup lights. They provide a clear white light that travels much further than the stock ones. Especially to the sides, which is not shown in the picture. Much safer, and a great upgrade.

Lights are certainly as advertised! Can-Bus friendly. Works perfectly on my 2004 Ford Expedition. A plug & play Installation with no resistors required! Hopeful to see 50,000 hour life span...

02/21/25 - update. They are not canbus ready a separate adapter is needed.02/09/25 -3157 on a 2008 jeep Wrangler X rverse. They are brighter than the original halogen but not as bright as many others I have seen. I gave 4 stars for build quality and light dispersion or else they would be a solid 3 for brightness alone.

Replaced the standard 1156 bulbs headlight bulbs on a John Deere GX335. Lights are now visible in the daylight, and really light up the area ahead at night. Significant improvement to visibility around the yard. Installation was easy, exact same fit as normal 1156 incandescent bulbs.
