Simple to change, looks pretty much the same and installed easily. I have only driven the vehicle about 10 Km’s but seem to be fine so far, no more clicking when turning. Cost was 1/2 of local parts store, happy so far.

The boot developed 2 cracks in it with 9 months or 13k miles. Auto Shack has 6 mo warranty. Way short of my expectations for the life of a cv axle.

I found I didn't need to undo the steering tie rod. turn the steering to extend the tie rod and the shaft end can be slipped out. What more can I say?
