Well the end of the shaft where the castle nut is was to big had to heat the bearing up to slide on the shaft .

No cotter pin, found a yoke not lining up with the shaft and decided to center it as there was clearance availabile from the other side of the universal joint and it moved the right amount to center it with the other, as it moved easy enough i decided to put a tab of jb weld to lock it in place and that should be fine for the rest of the machine life, but time will tell.
