The tether was not flexible around the cap, cap leaked a little from day one, wouldn't stay tight, finally fell off one too many times and i didn't see it. Mower chopped it into bits.

I’ve installed on lawnmower and visually it looks same as OEM, however it appears to have incorrect gasket/o-ring as it fit but wasn’t tight and would just wobble around. Removed gasket on OEM and put on this gas cap and fit was great. Appears gasket/o-ring is incorrect.
