I installed these bulbs in the high beams of my 2006 Honda Civic. The lights have three tabs that hold them in place. I noticed that one of the original tabs is slightly larger than the tabs on these new bulbs, which made one of the lights a bit loose. I'm not sure if a larger tab would have improved that. For some reason, I had a lot of trouble disconnecting the plug from my original lights. I had to spray WD-40 inside the connection to loosen it up. I also used a screwdriver to pry up on the lock tab while pushing down on the body of the plug with some large pliers. I’ve changed a lot of light bulbs before, but none have been as stuck as these were. This issue had nothing to do with the new bulbs, as they plugged in just fine. These new bulbs are brighter than the original incandescent ones, but I'm not convinced that they actually provide 22,000 lumens. Additionally, I don't think it would be a good idea to use them as fog light bulbs and leave them on all the time, as they would likely blind oncoming drivers.I am a bit concerned about how the electronics appear to be exposed to the elements. I can clearly see and touch the cooling fan. I hope there is a good sealant on the electronics. On the plus side, they have a relatively small electronics area, which is beneficial if they need to fit into a tight space.

Easy to install. Check Google for your specific car. I was able to go through the wheel well on my car.At first I thought they weren't much brighter compared to the halogen. Until I drove at night. Much brighter and safer for driver. I installed these for my girlfriend because her headlights were horrible before and I was worried about her driving.I can't comment on longevity yet but I've tested a lot of LEDs and havent really had much issues except for build quality.Build quality on these is good. Not the most premium but not cheap either. I'd say price is appropriate ($50), maybe a little high.Fan noise is ok, not any louder then others.

I’ve tested a few LEDs and they keep getting better and better. These are among the nicer built units that I’ve seen. Time will tell as far as longevity and also beam pattern will be a factor, but these have the elements in the proper position like the factory so the beam pattern should be pretty close. It’ll just depend on how the split element works. As you can see in the picture, The light pattern from the bulb doesn’t go all the way around like normal halogen does but They keep getting better and better with dealing with this problem as time goes on. Thus far these are among the nicest I’ve used. You can see the fan in the one picture also to help in cooling that’s another big thing on. These is cooling. If not done correctly they’ll die fast all in all happy with them.

I installed these 9005 LEDs for my high beams alongside the AUXBEAM 9006 LEDs I installed for my low beams. Much like the 9006s I previously reviewed, these 9005 LEDs are a great value. They fit in the housing correctly, very bright and have a nice beam pattern. They were easy to install in my 3/4 ton yukon xl. They seem to be a quality LED but time will be the decider on that. If I have any issues I will certainly update this review accordingly.

Love Auxbeam! Real quality company! I was in need of replacement headlights and these came to the rescue! Easy to install! Plug in and you're ready to go! However, I have a 2014 Ford Fusion that was not setup to distribute power evenly to LED lights and thus when the lights are on and I use my turn signal, I get a flickering in the headlight. Luckily it's an easy fix and I bought a Canbus Error Free Anti Flickering Resister Decoder. I'm a big fan of the one Auxbeam sells as that was my previous light company provider. So if you have an older car that you're putting LEDs in and get the flickering, this is a great fix! Pair these two together and you're golden! Bright and they look so good! They're smaller in size in the base than my previous ones so the tight fit was much easier to navigate.

I am very impressed by the brightness of these lights. Compared to a pair of halogen bulbs pricing wise these are on par with some high end halogen bulbs, but are far better in terms of visibility. I ordered the 22000k bulbs and it is almost unfair to compare them to a halogen bulb. They fit my vehicle high beam socket perfectly with no clearance issues with the rear lens cover. Installation was easy on my vehicle, but please refer to your vehicle manufactuers service information. It would probably be wise to have these professionally installed if you havent changed your headlamp bulbs before as most modern vehicles are challenging to work on. There are a couple small drawbacks however- the cooling fans for the heat sync are a bit noisy. I can hear them spin up from outside the vehicle. Also, my vehicle has stop-start where the engine shuts off at a stop, and my vehicle battery is past its expiration date. When my vehicle starter kicks on these headlights actually shut off for a second where my old halogen bulbs would just dim a bit(moreso now that my battery is aged). I am confident that if i change my vehicle battery that this concern would go away. My point with this explanation was if you run a plow or have other heavy power draws on your vehicle(yes im looking at you subwoofer peoples) it would be a good idea to have an inline capacitor or a really stout battery and charging system to prevent these from flickering or shutting off. Overall this is a super solid product so far, and a solid upgrade for my daily driver. If I run into any issues in the future I will be sure to come back and update this review.
