While other restaurant food containers for take out are made from earth-harming petroleum or tree sources, ours come from a zero-carbon-emissions facility and are made from agricultural by-products (wheatstraw and sugar cane) that would otherwise be thrown away. Our hinged clamshell boxes are microwaveable (up to 200 degrees) and resist leaking, even for moist foods!
Can I use these takeaway boxes for hot food?
Absolutely! As long as the food you serve is under 200 degrees F, these boxes will maintain their sturdiness! Cold foods are also fine! Perfect for leftovers!
What is this plant-based fiber made of?
The fiber that makes up our food containers comes from fully renewable unbleached wheatstraw and sugarcane fibers. The solid, pressed fiber is soak-proof, but slight condensation may collect on the bottom of the box when hot food is being served in them.

I have a 4” cookie cutter and it couldn’t go all the way in. With that said, the box is smaller at the bottom and that’s an issue. The pictures doesn’t have the same boxes and I just realized it now. I got the first picture but the rest is a completely different box.

These are actually just white styrofoam clamshell boxes. NOT LIKE IN PICTURE. I ordered this expecting biodegradable, Kraft boxes and got the complete opposite.

good size; did the job of serving up individual servings; very sturdy; clasp is strong; would like to see a lower price, so I could buy more. We use them for our soup kitchen which dispenses individual servings

Bought these for my daughter as a last resort, for a birthday outing. The children were able to take their cake home.Clean environment/ sturdy/ durable. Highly recommend .

Preferable to those horrid plastic clamshells for takeaways. They do the job and protect the environment at the same time. Our local boutique bakeries use them but not the big chains and grocery stores. Yet. When I remember, I bring them with me to the store.Downside? I doubt they will do soup or saucy sauces and they definitely cost more than clamshell plastic. The cost won’t kill the individual user but it could seriously affect profits for larger chains.

bought these for leftover from a grad party. got the job done & worked well enough. I thought good price for the product. held up decent, love the fact that these are biodegradable...did not seem to leak or soak through for me. some might say they are a little flimsy feeling so you don;t want to stack up a bunch.I know there are 4 stars marked but I would say 4.5 is a better score.... I was happy with them for what they were.

My daughter can take leftovers in these containers and safely reheat them in the microwave, then throw them away. They are compostable, so they will break down much sooner than styrofoam. They will not break like the glass containers I was sending did.
