I use this as a fast charger in the solar inputs of my 3000 W Goal Zero battery, just spliced it into an Anderson plug.The maximum input is 22 W although I think I can do the full 24, this charger does have a trimmer on it so with a voltmeter, you can turn it down to 22 W output. Fast charges, very well.It does have its own built-in cooling fan, but I purchased a small 5 inch USB fan on a stand to mount above it when use just to keep the heat down. Cheap insurance.

I've used power supplies like this for various projects. This one is used to power a small amplifier that requires 24 VDC, and for that these PS are perfect. NO hum, very little heat generated, and if by chance too much is generated it has a built-in fan to cool it down. It is protected against too much heat by automatically shutting down, which is nice.

I was a bit leery on purchasing this power supply due to the low price but I'm glad that I did. I use it to run my led rope. Voltage out of the box was 24.42 with no load. The fan kicks in when needed. No issues.

This is a solid power supply that produces the voltage required and has enough capacitors that switching wattage doesn't cause significant voltage fluctuation.The cooling fan never comes on. This makes the power supply really quiet, and in an environment where there's not a high continuous demand it's probably fine not to have active cooling. I bought 4 of them for building heater controllers and they work great for my application so far.I broke the inspection seal and opened one of the power supplies to measure the voltage coming off the fan terminals during operation and there was no power to the fan terminals, even under a small load.

I am really surprised how well these are holding up. I use them to power my outdoor 24V tree lights. I have them in a waterproof box. In two of the boxes I forgot to install the vents and these things worked for 2 months before I noticed they were getting pretty hot from no air circulation . .couple months later (after vents) and they are still working like a charm. I would not have complained if they failed from my mistake . . BUT they are still going strong. I have 4 back units on hand . . hopefully wont' have to use them. Only downside, I wish they had a decent mounting system.

I purchased this expecting it to last a few months. It has worked perfectly for a year and a half. The cooling fan will slow down so slow it is impossible to hear when the load is removed and speed up under full load. The power supply was supposed to only be used as backup if my solar batteries went down so I could run the deep freezer off the generator. Things happened and I never connected it (yet) to the Solar and Batteries and so it has been powering this large freezer 24/7. I did clean the intake area (once) as we have cats. It works flawlessly and quitely and is very small and weighs almost nothing. It is amazing and the price is fantastic! It accepted #8 AWG

For what it was designed, this unit has been flawless. My application is using it as a power supply for a LiPo charging system. It provides plenary of power for the charger unit and rarely gets warm enough for the cooling fan to kick on and is significantly quieter than the charger unit cooling fan. Somewhat larger than I had expected, but that’s really a non-issue. Overall build is good. The only part I was disappointed in is that the aluminum case sides near the terminal strip were bent on arrival. It was an easy fix, but I do prefer to get moving with products right out of the box. Not a big deal, though. Would definitely buy again when I have another application for one of these.

** UPDATE 8/12/19 **These guys came through and replaced the power supply. It is rare that you find a vendor that will back up their product and send a replacement no questions asked. I will certainly buy from them again and the new power supply is running great. THANK YOU for standing behind your products!So I bought this power supply for a 3D printer I am building. It worked well under lighter loads but once I got to sustained use daily the power supply blew something inside and eventually died. Smell was terrible. it usually never kicked the fan on inside but occasionally would and it stayed cool. Under load though and repeat use over about 2 weeks it just died. Its outside the 30 day warranty from amazon but I'm going to reach out to the seller anyhow.
