I use these to tie tails on trebles for home made bass lures.This set is a ton of value if you can get it for less than 10 bucks, as you get a ton of material and colors for that.The material seems durable and flashy, exactly what I need for the kind of fishing we do.Good stuff!

I made a bunch of half ounce to 1 oz bucktails using this hair. It works very well. The colors are nice, and should be appealing to the fish. The hair is easy to use, and given how much you get and the quality I think it's a good value for the money

As a newer fly tyer, I'm always happy to find budget materials and tools that help me produce nice flies as I continue to learn. This flashabou fits that perfectly. It's a great assortment of colors that let me tie flashy flies. There's a reasonable quantity of each color for what it costs, which is nice to see. The material is easy to tie in and works just fine for me. When I get through this pack, I'll very likely order another!

This flash material is comparable to the name brand material sold in many tackle shops. It is much shorter in length than most I've seen, but the colors are fantastic. This is a great value for jig and fly tying. Seems to be colorfast although I haven't tested in water yet. Ties nicely and blend in well with all types of feathers, bucktail, etc... I would purchase more of this material.

This is an amazing assortment of ten colors. Each color is bundled individually and there is a LOT in each color bundle. The strands are about eleven inches long and less than 1mm wide. I consider them to be 'thin' strands and they're very limp. Three of the colors (purple, red, and silver) are holographic. All of the colors are perfect for tying small flashbacks or adding to the tail sections of leech and streamer patterns. They're thin enough enough to use as ribbing or body material for midges as well. At roughly $1 per bundle it's an incredibly good deal. There are more of each color than I will tie in a lifetime. Highly recommended!!

These hanks are 12" end-to'-end with a zip tie roughly in the middle. They are individually bagged.The hanks are shorter than the fly shop name brand, but you get a lot more material overall and the price per hank is much less. Not as flexible as flashabou, but not as stiff as some of the other off-brand krystal flash I've used in the past.Great for adding sparkle to hair jigs, treble hooks, saltwater teasers and flies.
