Nice fly box. I ordered the smaller box with silicon pads. Great visibility of the contents.Substantial hinges with 4 plastic hinges on one lid and 3 on the other, both over a metal rod.The lid height is a bit higher than many boxes with about ½” clearance for larger bodied flies.The lids seal with silicon gaskets and require a bit of force to fully seal when latching the positive locking latch.The covers are chamfered, I assume to add strength, make for easier insertion into a pocket, and perhaps to eliminate sharp corners. There are a couple of slots in the hinge side of the body to allow for a lanyard.Nice fly box for $14. I like the bright green silicon pad.
