So I decided grab two of these for the upcoming season. First, looks are as expected from avian, always realistic. I wanted to test it out before bringing it out. When used individually, its ultra realistic. It creates great ripple effects that bounce off surrounding decoys, as you can kind of tell in the picture. It has 2 settings, one is constant swimming and one is an intermittent pattern. Now, I was hoping to use it to pull two other decoys as it comes with a three way cable to do just that. You the hook up your weight lines to the tail end of the two non motorized decoys. The issue I ran into when testing out this method was that the three way cable kept getting tangled and reducing movement after 5 mins or so of run time. Now it should also be noted that the three way cable comes coiled up, which might be the whole reason it was tangling (the line was looped up). So I now have the decoys out stretching the 3 cables to remove the coils. If that doesnt work, I may then try to cut the main line that goes to the swimmer a little shorter( its 32" and the 2 that get pulled are 36"). Otherwise I will just use it as a single. I am adding these to 3 pulsators and 4 shakers in my spread. Anything not to have to use a jerk chord! I run 3-5 dozen at a time, with some canadas to the side. Hope this helps!
