I was really looking forward to using this fuel tester, but unfortunately, it arrived without the tip, making it completely unusable right out of the box. That’s a pretty big miss for something meant to support safe preflight procedures.Even aside from the missing part, the plastic feels thin and cheap, not what I’d expect from a tool meant for regular ramp or hangar use. It doesn’t give me much confidence in its durability, especially if you're tossing it in a flight bag or using it frequently. It’s a nice idea with features like the smell-proof case and built-in filter, but the quality control and materials just aren’t there.

Solid tester, fits my Cessna just fine. The fuel drains clean and the markings are easy to read. What surprised me was that little smell-proof jar — game changer. No more avgas stink in my flight bag.Simple, does the job, and feels like it’ll last. Thumbs up from a weekend warrior pilot.

This does a great job of sumping avgas. The container is very clear, so you can detect moisture or imperfection easily, and the probe is made of sturdy metal unlike with some other brands, so it won't break. I am subtracting one star though because the idea with the external container is that you can close it up, so you don't have any odor or a sharp object sticking out during your flight, but because they made the exterior container too short, you have to take the whole thing apart to be able to put it in and close the container. For one this takes time which pilots do not have because there's always someone behind you at the pump and you have to get going regardless (and then you have to put it back together again when you need to use it again), and two, while you take it apart you get the avgas all over your hands. If they made the exterior container just .75" taller, it would fit. :/

Bought this before a cross-country trip and I’m glad I did. The fuel tester feels durable, and the smell-proof jar is a clever touch — no more gas fumes stinking up my headset or kneeboard. Works on different types of drains, and it’s clear the brand actually thought about what pilots need. Simple, but smart.

Works great. No leaks, and the jar keeps the fuel smell contained. Nice upgrade from my old one.

Been flying Cessnas out of a small field in northern Florida where fuel quality can be hit or miss. I use this tester every preflight now. The GATS-style cup works like it should – clear fuel separation, easy drainage – but what really impressed me was the added storage jar. That’s the game changer. I dump used fuel into the smell-proof jar and toss it in my bag without worrying about stink or spillage. It’s a small touch, but it shows they actually thought about pilot needs. Fits perfectly in my flight bag. I’d recommend this to any student or private pilot who’s tired of throwing out half-used testers or dealing with the mess.

Bare fuel tester Jar -Body ---- I’ve gone through a few fuel testers over the years but this one surprised me. First off, the GATS-style cup is super handy — no more wasting fuel on the ground. But what really stood out was the smell-proof jar it comes with. It’s perfect when you’re done checking and want to store the fuel safely without stinking up your bag or cockpit. It’s clear someone actually designed this with real pilots in mind.
