I've ordered the 24" x 3" and 26" x 3" AVIDITI tubes in the past and the quality was quite good for the price. The tubes were very sturdy with a slightly glossy finish on the outside and the endcaps fit very snugly. Unfortunately, each time I need to reorder the tubes the price seems to continually be higher, and now, in the case of the 18" x 3" tubes, the quality is definitely lower. The cardboard tubes have a different matte finish and they seem less durable and the endcaps are made of a thinner plastic and they don't fit tightly on the end of the tubes. There are times that the endcaps have simply fallen out on their own after I have attached them to both ends of a tube. I don't know if the 18" carboard tubes are manufactured differently than the larger tubes, and if they are I don't know why they would be, but for the current price these tubes are no longer a good deal and the quality is only medium-grade.

I’ve purchased this product twice now. The first time the tubes were a glossy white and very sturdy. My latest shipment they are a dull white and not as sturdy. They’ll still work for my needs but there is no consistency.

These work perfectly for shipping large prints. They are nice and thick so I don't have to worry about the contents bending. At 3" wide, large prints can be comfortably rolled. I felt like the 2" tubes that I've purchased in the past were too small to roll and ship large prints.
