The quality of this item is what can be expected for the price. Be careful when assembling, as the metal edges along the bottom of the step are very sharp and can cause cuts easily. I ended up sanding down the edges to prevent injury. Also, be careful when tightening the legs, as over-tightening can cause the step to deform. Lastly, the handle attaches by push button tube locks, so it is very wiggly. If you are looking for a super cheap lightweight step stool, this one will do the job, but if you are looking for a sturdy, quality piece, look elsewhere.

The rubber feet keep falling off which is super inconvenient as I would like to use this inside and outside. The instructions are terrible but fortunately I found a video on youtube that was helpful.

I have arthritis really bad and I'm a big person. I needed this to help get into my daughter's SUV. It is very lightweight to carry but sturdy to stand up on.

The screws for the legs could be seen and felt from under the rubber mate on top. The handle was not very sturdy. I had to put duct tape on it to help keep it from wobbling. I was very disappointed. I was getting this for a relative who was coming home from the hospital. No time to send it back, because he needed something now. I told him to be very careful and try not to put to much weight on it for fear he would fall.- Just used the step stool part. I put the handle side next to a table so that if it breaks, it was at least braced up against something solid.The paper in the box stated it would hold up to 500 lbs, the description says 200- not sure how long it will last. The man weights about 225. Sorry, I bought it.
