A game changer for travel. Fits so much, and is so conveniently secured onto my carryon. Fits under the airplane seat without any issue no matter how much stuff i fit inside. Dont think i can travel without it!

I'm on my second passport, and after so many flights, I've moved away from "just in case" packing style to "just what I need" packing mentality. With that, I went looking for a personal item bag that fits under the seat and keeps my essentials at arm's reach. This bag is the most compact I could find from a reputable brand.Pros 👍👍👍- Compact & Lightweight: This is the main reason to consider this bag.- True-to-size dimensions and accurate description: 16.3 x 10.2 x 7.3 inches.- Minimal and understated style.- Good blend of "open floor plan" with well-sized internal pockets to keep stuff in place.- The wide opening combined with the light color interior makes finding & accessing your stuff a breeze!- Zippers are smooth as butter.- Comfortable shoulder strap.- Exterior fabric is easy to wipe clean and offers a bit of water protection against spills and light rain.- One-year limited warranty is standard, but nothing special.Cons 👎👎👎- Front Pocket: it lacks RFID protection and is a little too tight.- The interior mesh pocket is just too fragile so handle with care 😒- The liner where you have the internal zipper pocket is too saggy! It needs a couple "anchor" stitches to keep it upright.- Value: At $195 MSRP, you are paying premium for this bag.The Bottom Line 🧐✅ This duffle bag makes an excellent "personal item" bag for those who travel light and pack efficiently. Though it is not perfect, the pros far outweigh the shortcomings. It is well designed and well made. I have had mine for a few months now, and I am happy with my purchase and have no problem recommending it to others.⚠️ If you are a habitual over-packer, or just need more space, consider Away Overnight Bag which offers more space for a few bucks more. Those of you who prefer backpack style, should consider Away Everywhere Zip Backpack.I hope my short review has helped you make a more informed buying decision 👍😊✌️

We have a bunch of typical Away roller bags and have had really good success with them. They have been knocked around and pulled through airports all over the world — and have survived quite well. So we are Away fans. However, sometimes a different form factor is ideal. Like if my wife is going on an overnight business trip and doesn’t want the hassle of a roller, and needs something a bit more formal than a backpack. This is her solution and it works well paired with another personal item like a handbag.Overall, the capacity is pretty decent. It zips open very wide, making the main compartment easy to pack even with a couple of packing cubes. It’s enough for a day or two of a change of clothes and a pair of shoes. But not much more probably. There are some nice interior pockets in that main compartment to help with organization, although none of them are huge. But if you get a routine down of how you want to keep things compartmentalized when you travel, you might really enjoy having them. Like these are great for chargers and cables. There is an entirely separate laptop sleeve, which is more than large enough for a 15” MacBook Air. It feels pretty protected from the rest of the bag’s contents. The included strap is pretty comfortable, although like any duffle, you probably don’t want to be carrying it on your shoulder for too long if you have stuffed this full. But that’s just the compromise you make going from a roller to a duffle. Unless you take both, in which case this has a very usable pass though for the roller’s handle. When we travel together, that’s sometimes the combo of bags that we take — and it works really well together. Finally, the appearance is very clean. There is simple and minimal branding and the material feels pretty durable. I suspect it will scuff over time, but not sure how to avoid that with the realities of travel.Note there is not any included locking mechanism, unlike many other Away bags. In fact, this will probably be toughish to lock given the design of the zipper pulls. So just beware that if you are thinking of checking this, it might not be super secure.Overall, this has fit a nice need for us with shorter business or weekend away trips particularly during warmer times when we don’t need tons of layers. Another winner from Away.

I travel for several consecutive months in the UK & Europe every year, and just purchased a new Away Bigger Carry On - THIS Everywhere Duffle Bag seemed like a perfect bag to use with it. I was absolutely right, but not in the way I expected. As it is turning out, this bag is being packed inside my suitcase as my go bag once I arrive. The size is perfect to contain 2 days' worth of clothes and travel items, allowing me to store/stash my suitcase for smaller side trips. Which, if you have travelled frequently in the UK or EU, you know how nice it is not to have to haul your suitcase from train to train/station to station. And it fits in my suitcase flat, taking up so little space that I am still able to pack everything else I had planned. Before committing to how I planned to use it, I tested it and put everything I would need, sans my laptop and small electronics, which I always take in my backpack. Everything fit perfectly, was not too heavy, and I still had a bit of space to spare if I needed to add anything. Keeping in mind I would probably do two nights and 2.5 days - and would be wearing one full outfit; I packed - 1 leggings, 1 t-shirt, 1 dress shirt, 2 underwear, eyeliner/mascara/shadow/powder/gloss, water bottle, and travel size toiletries. BOOM! Sorted.
