This is my 5th bulb in this projector. I own 2 projectors and am familiar with bulb replacements.I've purchased this exact bulb before and was very satisfied.Worse than last time.Very dim.Disappointed...After all adjustments will only be able to use at night in total darkness2

Was reasonably easy to install, found some guides on YouTube for my BENQ HT3050 whose original bulb lasted for 4 years. It was nice, a lot brighter than the old bulb. BUT within 30 minutes of testing it shut down due to overheating on normal settings.This NEVER happened with the original bulb. I restarted after it cooled down and then immediately put it into economy mode and high altitude mode so that the fans run higher. It’s quite a bit noisier but since then I’ve watched about six hours on it, around two hours at a time and it seems to be doing fine. I’ll try to keep it on more in the next few days and see how it holds up.

So initially I installed this wrong, and got a really dim picture, and kept getting a red-light suggesting lamp problem if I left it running 30 min or so.I reinstalled it, and now the actual display and brightness looks great. Have been running it well for several weeks, but Yesterday again I got the red light and the projector felt hot to the touch... I turned it off and was able to use it again afterward for awhile so not sure if still acting up..

At first, the bulb was dim. After a few days, the bulb started to flash. After a week, the bulb exploded. I just want to return my money. Who can help me?
