How to choose the right bandsaw blades
- The narrower the blade in width (or depth), the tighter the cut radius possible and therefore, it's more suited to curve-work.
- The wider the blade, the easier to maintain a straight cut and therefore more suitable to straight cuts and resaw work.
- The less teeth per inch, the more aggressive the cut, more effective the chip/swarf clearance, and is therefore more suited to deeper stock or cutting with the long fibres of the grain.
- Curve-cutting blades often have six or more teeth per inch. The more teeth per inch, the smoother the finished cut and less tear out when cutting across the grain.

Have gone thru the 2 blades I bought in less than a week. Both blades after using to cut several items, broke. Bought 2 different size blades for different woods and all blades have broken within a couple uses.Have never had this happen this quickly EVER. The previous blades I had that broke were over a year or more old.I wouldn't suggest buying these blades. Not happy at all with this purchase and will never buy from them again.

On startup the first band lost a few teeth and or some slag came off the blade. The band appeared to have a bad spot on it. After setting up the adjustment for the tension and angle of the pulleys on about the third or fourth cut, of soft wood, the blade broke at what looked like the weld. Thankfully the bands came as a pair so I had a replacement on hand. The second band is running great and I didn't have to make any adjustments for this band. I feel it is only fair for the band to be replaced by Amazon or whoever supplies Amazon.

Blades keep breaking after 1/2 hour of use! They are useless.

It’s trash, it snapped after one week of use while cutting EVA foam save your money.
