Size wise it was a perfect fit, a bit fiddly to install (mower had a design changed which introduced a fan to the pulley under the gas tank limiting space).Also, I was a little concerned when installing it as the broad side cut of the belt was a little different to the original manufacturers belt, plus it seemed a little 'stiff'.3 - 4 mows of the lawn (approx 1.5 acres) and it snapped. Very disappointed as it replaced the original manufacturers belt which had been on there since purchase 12/13 years ago!Takeaway here, reading the reviews it seems a bit hit & miss, quality probably depends on how long these belts have sat in storage and how many hot-cold cycles they have gone through to break-down the material.Going to suck up the wait times and try a genuine craftsman next.

Bought this to replace my Husqvarna drive belt in May 2018. Squeaking started by the end of the season and replaced it again. Still have the squeak and so suspect an idler pulley. I compared the size to the new belt size and it was exact meaning no stretch occurred. There was no visable cracks or fraying. Nice

I had a factory belt from Husqvarna since the mower was purchased new 3 years ago. Original belt was still usable but getting a little stretched so I decided to replace it. After looking at several replacement options, I opted for the AYP brand due to other reviews, price, etc.New belt went on snug & performed well at first but unfortunately it broke after only a handful of uses. No heavy mowing, just regular use. I guess you get what you pay for. Will be looking back into an OEM replacement. Buyers should be aware of the risks of trying to save a little $$$.Giving 2 stars for good price & Quick Shipping.

Better than original equipment! Should not have needed to replace that one with less than a season of use. Went on easy and works great.

Contrary to the Sears site and description for my Craftsman mower model # 917.254791 - 12.5 hp. This belt is too big.[...]I hate sending it back but that's why I use Prime all the time.

Without a drive belt you don't mow much grass. Sears gave me a delivery date TWO months out, so I was grateful to be able to get a replacement belt in two days. As for quality - it looks like a good belt, but i have only used it about five hours. The original belt lasted 4 years and one month. Time will tell.
