Beautiful pyramid patio heater with an amazing flame producing plenty of heat! Beautiful and functional! Received it packaged very very well and ahead of the scheduled delivery date. Easy to follow assembly instructions, no parts missing. We love it! Well done!

It took me about an hour to assemble. All the holes lined up just fine. The craftsmanship was very good. I saw the price drop and this is what push me to buy it. I was looking to replace an older patio heater that was showing ware. The tower heaters heat is more outward, from center tube, when standing next to to it. It has a small cap at top that redirect the above heat exhaust at the top, downward. I'm pleased with the warmth it produces. This tower heater is a good general area heat generator, vs the standard heat at top with and large top deflector. The heat is warm but hot over bearing. My family also like the looks of the heater...they say it looks like a restaurant heater....which it is. It very stylish and pleasing to look at. The Top Deflector heater is a good for heat too....but this Tower Heater is visually appealing. I will consider adding another unit.....if I see it go on sale again.

We purchased this our first year in this house (2019). It gets very chilly outside from November to February in NW AZ. Table top pits are great but don't hold up well to the winds we have. This Hiland Tower won't put off as much heat but it's sturdy and can be used in breezy conditions. It has held up through some horrid storms in the summer and winter and still looks brand new. The igniter works perfectly every time. We had a patio heater tower like you see at venues and restaurant patios but it barely survived a full year. You can sit right next to this one without worrying about being too close to an open flame. It puts off just enough heat to cut that chill if you're having your morning coffee or evening wine.It was easy enough to put together myself and the only tip I can share is to make sure you hold down the dial after you've replaced a propane tank to prime the line. You hold down and quarter turn, press button, slowly release as you keep turning left to desired flame height.Love this thing and would love a second one but propane is too expensive for more than necessities!Oh and this tower is a conversation piece when having guests over. Especially lighting it at night, it gives the best ambiance!!!! A smaller table version would be super fun too.If you need a reliable and attractive heating device for your outdoor space, I highly suggest investing in this one. From 2019-Almost 2025 I have zero complaints but continually impressed by it.

The directions are fine if you have any experience putting patio type items together. The fastner sizes called out in the directions are incorrect, but not a problem as they are all included. Keep in mind the finished product is 7 feet tall so unless you are Shaq you will need a step ladder to complete the assembly process. We purchased 2 heaters and put them together assembly line style, it takes a lot of space so plan ahead. The only point you can go wrong is in assembling the body of the heater, if you use all the fasteners to put the aluminium tubes together, you will need to disassemble 16 fasteners in order to install the panels, which is one of the last steps.The overall quality is good, but the hinges at the bottom of the access panel to get at the heater controls and Propane are not a good design. Some wind blew the panel off the first night and I needed to bend the hinge back to reinstall the panel. These are not made to be left in the elements year round, so they need covers. The covers ar $35 each and a royal pain to install, again you need a step ladder.Functionally, they work well, but are FOR ASTEHETICS ONLY. They look great, however they do not give off any measureable heat. They will not keep you warm in colder weather.

Very pleased with this product - I hesitated at first reading some mixed reviews but here is my honest take on this item. Delivered by UPS as promised on time, packaging superior, likely 15-20 lbs of packaging I took to the garage after removing everything, every piece wrapped / boxed separate inside a main box. Directions laser printed, to me, very clear, every screw marked with a AA / CC etc designation and where to place it on the unit. Unpacked and assembled in 1 hour. No complaint on directions, they were crystal clear. High quality components, well manufactured, Glass tube was very well packaged and again each piece was precisely manufactured, I was really impressed. Similar unit at Lowes / Home Depot was $299-$399. Put gas tank in - turned on, very little heat at first but after 3 minutes or so when the top receiving burner and top plate heat up / very happy / very hot. Estimate 5-6 foot diameter from unit of heating, more than adequate. You can't expect the same heat out of this that you get from the other heaters that have the large satellite dish thing at the top. Flames go 1/2 way up glass tube on low, all the way to the top on high setting. Aesthetically pleasing. Now that I've gotten this one, my plan was to get another to put on the other side of patio so I'll be ordering today. If you're not good at assembly you may ask someone to help you, I had no issue at all. 2 assembly things to look out for. (1) make absolutely sure that when you put the base plate on (one side of it has two 1" wide notches) that side of the base must be and inline directly with the burner regulator knobs (unit) that goes on next above it. The notches are where the swivel door rests in to hinge in and out - if you don't line up the notches on the base plate, inline with the burner knobs (burner unit) 3 feet above it you'll get to disassemble and start over. Also, when putting the (3) side panels on the base, lightly hand-screw all 6 screws in first, then tighten. Do this on all 3 sides to make sure you get the screws in, then tighten all 18 screws at once.Oh - I also liked the fact that the grills that go on the 4-sides do not heat up - I have twin 10 year olds that are already very curious about the flames but the side grills are cool to the touch with all the heat generating from the top of the unit that's 7' tall. The dancing flames that go up the tube are very neat to look at.This is a great heater for the price, very happy in Clearwater , FL .
