Really impressed with this, exceptional value. Easy to fill, with a reliable closure. My camelback had a screw top which always leaked. This has a more simple closure, which is much better!Water flows well, tastes fine. I got 1.5l, which is a decent size for a morning hike. Very happy.

I am pleased with the design with good functional parts and quality materials. I have several backpacks that serve different functions. I often don’t want to change out the water bladder from one to the other, hence the order for yet another one. I have found the top closure to be secure and my favorite way for filling and easy close. This is the largest one I have, so this will go in my bigger pack. The hose is plenty long even when the pack is quite full. I recommend giving this one a try!

I got this to replace an aging Camelbak bladder in one of my backpacks. I especially like the fact that this bladder has a wider fold-over design opening. That generally makes it easier to fill, add ice and clean the bladder, though the opening on this one, while full width, is pretty stiff plastic, so you really need two hands to keep it open, and it definitely won't stay open on its own (like if you want to prop it open to dry inside. But, in my testing, once the opening is folded over and the clip slid on to keep it closed, it doesn't leak even if you apply a good amount of pressure to the bladder.Other notable features are the bladder has an internal baffle running vertically down the center of the bladder to help minimize water sloshing around and the bladder becoming a cylinder instead of a flatter oval shape. The hose is detachable from the bladder and the quick connect port at the bottom of the bladder has a valve in it that closes when you disconnect the hose, so it won't leak if the hose is disconnected. That said, this also becomes a liability if you use anything other than water in your bladder (i.e. hydration mix, etc.) since this quick connect port/valve can trap the residue from your hydration mix and become a breeding ground for mold. The business end of the hose where you sip your water has a bite valve as well as a pull/push valve to close the bite valve so it won't leak. The type of bite valve used on this bladder isn't my favorite, since you really have to bite down on it to get the fluids to flow; unlike a true Camelbak valve, you can't just suck on the valve and have the fluids flow. So, with all the chomping down on the valve, I worry about its longevity. I may end up moving the bite valve and hose valve over from my old bladder since I prefer that style. My biggest issue is that this bladder imparted a very strong plasticky taste to the water. Now, to be fair, I've never met a bladder that doesn't impart a taste, but this was pretty strong. I'm hopeful that this will fade over time and I'll be trying some things like putting baking soda in the water and letting it sit for a while to see if that helps get rid of or reduce the plastic flavor.Overall, if I can get rid of the plastic flavor, I'd say that this is a reasonable option for a replacement bladder. It's certainly a good bit cheaper than the OEM Camelbak bladders.

This hydration bladder is well designed with some nice upgraded features from my old one.I especially like that the hose has a quick connect, and does not leak even when removed. It fits well in my current hydration backpack of the same capacity, 1.5 liters. The fold over top is easy to use and is well sealed. It does not leak, even under bouncing and squeezing pressure. I like the large opening because it allows me to put in ice.The bite valve is a little finicky, with a narrow area to bite.

No funky smells, easy to seal and not a bad deal. Two extra replacement o-rings are supplied for the hose's connection to the water bag. Good to go!

I chose this bladder because it was BPA free, got the 2L size and it works well. There weren't super detailed instructions, but I figured out how to open/close/use the bite flow valve. It slips easily into my minimalist back pack for biking and hiking. I like having the 2L and the options to carry more or less fluid. I wish it came with a clip to secure the hose/valve to my shoulder straps so I could keep it in one place for easy access with just a turn of my head and not reach about to find it during activity. It didn't come with cleaning instructions and I have to improvise something to keep the top part open so it can hang and dry out after rinsing.

My family does a lot of hiking, so we use water bladders a lot. I've come to prefer ones that have a top that fully opens, like this one, because it makes drying them out and cleaning them a lot easier than if there's just a round screw-open hole (some of which are so small you can't even put your hand inside). This one uses a fold over and clamp mechanism, similar to a small dry bag or waterproof camera pouch. The sealing mechanism was easy to use, but you have to be careful of how much you fill it. I filled the bladder up, held it upside down, tried pressing on it and squeezing it and didn't get any leaks. I also let it slosh around in my backpack loose while I took a short hike and no leaks there either. The valve is a bit unusual in that you have to slide a collar to unlock the water flow, and then it has a somewhat different bite valve as well. I do like that it has a cap because my bite valve frequently ends up in the dirt, but I suspect it's going to be more of an annoyance than a useful feature though. It could easily be snipped off if it really bothers me. And the tubing looks like the standard size, so the valve could also be replaced if it doesn't work out.

Doesn't leak. I love the top fold opening. It's easier to fill from my fridge door filtered water supply than the side hole type. The hard plastic clip that holds it securely closed also has the spots for hanging from backpack reservoir clips, which I prefer over clip holes in the bladder material itself (feels more stable). Internal baffle keeps a flatish shape when full like an air mattress. Hose can unclip easily and the bladder does not leak with hose removed. The only thing that I miss is a dust cover over the bite valve.

This bladder is made of a good quality food safe material. The quick connect makes it simple to use, clean and store. It's easy to fold up and pack away when empty. The price is reasonable for what you get so so far after using it out on a few walks pretty happy with it

I needed to replace the bladder of my daypack, and this replacement one is just what I needed. Easy to open and fill, hooks onto the clasp in my backpack, and feeds by gravity to a bite-type mouth piece. I really like that the plastic is PBA and PVC free, which makes a difference in taste and chemical impact to the quality of the water. Good value too.
