Baby is just now turning 4 weeks old and have only used this maybe 5 times, and it has stopped working properly. It acts like it is water logged or something.

This cute little monkey is not only adorable to look at, but he will soon become an essential player in your baby’s bath time routine. He has a temperature-sensing probe on his backside so he automatically begins working the moment you place him into the water. There is no on or off switch. He will actually cut himself off after a few minutes once he is removed from the water.This would have been so handy to have had when my children were young. Instead, I had to rely on my wrist or elbow to determine if the water was the correct temperature and it always bothered me that I may either get it too warm or too cool. This would have alleviated some of my anxiety during bath time.The display screen can be switched to Fahrenheit or to Centigrade depending on your preference. If the water temp is too hot, an alarm will sound and a red light will flash. If it is too cold, an orange light will flash. All of this is so helpful, especially to a first-time mother as she learns what water temperature is and is not appropriate for her baby. It truly takes all the guesswork from the parent, therefore, creating one less thing for the new mother to be anxious about.You cannot see the first picture very well, but it actually says 93 degrees, and at the time, it was flashing orange. As the water continued to fill up the tub and the temperature increased, a green light came on indicating to me that this was the perfect temp for the baby. So easy, so quick, and so helpful!Not only is this cute little monkey a Baby Bath Thermometer, he can double as a tub toy when your child gets older. Two for the price of one! This waterproof yellow puppy figurine is also a baby bath water thermometer/monitor. It is very cute as well as easy to use and understand. Since my expectant niece has very little experience with children, I thought this bathtub water temperature monitor would be helpful for her; letting her know if water is the right temperature for baby! Inside the box, you will find an easy-to-follow instruction guide, explaining that the monitor will notify you if the water is too hot by flashing red, or it will flash orange if the temperature is not warm enough. The monitor is battery operated and comes with the required LR44 battery installed. The monitor can read in either Fahrenheit or Celsius. While I haven’t used the monitor, myself, since it is a gift, I feel that it will last a long time due to its sturdy construction. I like the fact that it can double as a bathtime toy as the baby gets older.

If only this had been available when my kids were babies...about 40 years ago!! I ordered this as part of a baby shower gift for my nephew's wife. She has two older children and doesn't know how she ever got along without it at bathtime. It registers the bathwater temp accurately and changes temperature readings as the water temp changes. It's easy to turn on and will turn itself off automatically when it's removed from the water. And....it's so cute. I can see the baby enjoying playing with it when she gets a little older. I recommend this for absolutely any mommy.

Great tool for any caregiver to have on hand. Super easy to use and ensures the water is perfect every time. Readout is clear and easy to see, even if you are too far to see the number, the color coding is nice and bright and you're able to see that. Overall, happy with this tool
