Much bigger than I thought. I will look for a smaller alternative. If you only put it up temporarily then id say get it, 5/5. Otherwise 3/5 for daily use .

i bought this in anticipation of my grandson turning 2 and meeting the parameters to be front facing in his car seat. so i had it a few weeks before his birthday and before i actually used it. i did try it out when it arrived and it seemed ok, if not perfect. i do not transport grandson on a daily basis so when i had him in the car, i put this mirror on and when he was safely home, i took it off. first of all it doesn’t really fit my mirror as the mount is square and my mirror is curved. i figured i could live with that. it was a bit wobbly but stayed put. but after using it. approximately 3 times it just sprung off of the mirror and crashed to the floor. further examination showed that the springs had sprung so the means to clip it onto the mirror were gone. luckily i had a pretty strong rubber band in my car and i used that to keep the grip secured. and that’s where it is now. if its going to be usable at all, then i’ll just have to leave it installed with the rubber band. it is a bit in the way but not so it’s an obstruction.too late for returns so i’ll live with this until my macgyver fix fails.i would not recommend.

When my grandchildren were little, their car seat was on the passenger side of the back seat and I had purchased one of these mirrors so that I could keep an eye on them. I loved that mirror so when I got a dog a couple of months ago, I installed her seatbelt on the passenger side and bought another mirror. I love that I can see exactly where my dog is sitting to guarantee that she is safe. The mirror installed in less than a minute, rotates easily, and holds its position wherever I place it. I can highly recommend using a mirror like this for children or pets in the back seat.

This fit onto my 2024 Honda CR-V's rearview mirror without any issues and provides a view of the width of the backseat. It is not large enough to allow the driver to see the whole of the backseat at once from top to bottom. I don't mind this tradeoff because I don't want a huge thing added to my rearview mirror, and because I can adjust it to show me the passengers I want to see (they aren't very tall) and it stays in place.The ability to easily adjust the angle but also have it stay once placed is better with this than with the Diono See Me Too Rear View Forward Facing Baby Mirror, which I also have, and which is a bit jerky to adjust and slips from position.This mirror is also a little easier to install than the Diono because it's a spring that you pull apart to fit around the rearview mirror then allow to spring back to hold, versus the Diono's which you unscrew then screw to tighten. I thought this might be more of a problem and could pop itself off, which I've had other mirrors do, but that hasn't happened with my car and I think it's because the opening is wide enough that it's not strained and pulling itself off. I also worried that having this pressure could be damaging to my car's mirror, but the rubber grip seems to give good protection.Bottom line is that this is simple to use and works well. I recommend it over the Diono.

The mirror for the car seat is great to help keep an eye on my toddler while driving. It's much safer than turning around to see what they are getting into while driving. I had to fiddle with it a bit to get it to fit under my rearview mirror, but it's worked great so far.
