While I haven’t used this cooling pad just yet, the materials feel sturdy and well-made. Once the water is added and the packs are frozen, it becomes quite heavy—something to keep in mind. One downside is the bulky nozzles inside each pocket, which could be uncomfortable for a toddler. I actually plan to use this for my Frenchie, who tends to overheat in the car. With a thin sheet over it and fans already in place, I think this will be a great addition to help keep her cool during summer drives.

I'm not sure I'm really liking the design. You take out these plastic water pouches with twist caps. They provide a silicone funnel that shrinks kinda flat. And some other little spout thingies. You fill all these bags with water and freeze. Then you place them inside the pad. Then you place it on the car seat prior to getting in the vehicle and you remove it before you place your child in the seat. It does cool it down. I'm just not sure I enjoyed all the process. Would much rather a prefilled pad and to put the entire pad in freezer. It's just way too many steps and complicated. Now the quality of the pad is really good. I love how thick it is to contain the cold and it seems really sturdy.

This long set of ice packs is pretty clever for keeping cool not just in hot car-seats, but literally anywhere. I love that they store so flat. Easy to fill and freeze and are leak proof (so far).

My daughter always complains about her car seat being too hot, even with full blasting AC and her own personalized fan she still isn't comfortable! I've been looking for a car seat cooling pad for this reason. This cooling pad does a good job keeping the car seat cool when you're out and about, and we haven't gotten complaints from her yet. I would say set up is a multi step process, you have to remove the ice pack, fill EACH ice pack with water, lay it on the table for 10 minutes for the gel to form, THEN put it in the fridge for 10 hours. I would have much preferred gel already in the package. To use a car seat cooling pad, you will also have to be very intentional and plan ahead to freeze the packs! Overall, works as intended, but has opportunities to improve.

I highly recommend this for summer—it's honestly like having air conditioning for the stroller. My baby tends to overheat quickly, but we love going for walks, and this has been a game-changer. It keeps my baby cool and comfortable, making outdoor time much safer. This has been one of the best choises I’ve made—a true summer essential. You can actually feel the cool air rising from it like a gentle “steam,” and it makes a noticeable difference.

The Babeezy Baby Car Seat Cooling Pad with 4 Ice Packs arrives dry but quickly turns into ice by adding 500ml of water using the included funnel. Once hydrated, the ice packs must be kept frozen to get their cooling effect.Pack the dry ice with camping and sporting gear to have emergency ice for first aid.My main problem was keeping the hydrated ice packs frozen for future usage while travelling. I needed to bring a large ice chest packed with ice. An expensive option is purchasing several pounds of frozen dry ice.

Just the other day, my wife complained that the toddler was getting way too hot in her car seat. We had the AC on and we were comfortable - maybe even a bit cold. But the baby was sweating in her car seat. That's because the car seat is further from the AC and the bulky padding/fabric of the car seat makes it difficult for the AC to actually cool her down. This car seat cooling pad will be helpful in keeping the toddler cool when it gets hotter. The design is rather simple. It's just a fabric "wallet" that has four compartments. Each compartment has it's own bag of gel powder. You fill it with water, as instructed, you freeze it, the you put it into the wallet. The wallet then straps onto the car seat and keeps the seat cool when you are out and about. When you are ready to put baby back in, you remove the cooling pad and the seat will be a nice cool sensation. Do not put your baby ONTO the cooling pad. It's not meant for the baby to sit on while traveling. This big downside is that it'll melt. In a very hot day, say if you have your car parked by the beach for several hours, this might only work once before needing to be re-frozen. Nonetheless, it works as intended. We actually pack it into our cooler when we travel, which serves two purposes: 1. It keeps this item from melting until we need it and, 2. This keeps the cooler cold at the same time. Just makes sure to freeze it before you need it. For unplanned events, unless this was in your freezer already, it's not going to be much help.

This is very nice and a wonderful tool to use during hot summer days to keep your baby from overheating. The pad basically works as a pocket, with an ice pack inserted in each section, with the whole thing covering the car seat. Let it sit there for a bit, and when you are ready, remove it to put your child in a nice, cool seat. The ice packs need to be prepared ahead of time, and it is important to note the instructions are on this Facebook page, NOT with the actual item. So be sure to refer to them before you do anything.Otherwise, very nice, 'cool' idea that helps on those hot days.
