This baby pillow works and fast; my baby sleepIn the same side and won’t stop crying if I don’t let her sleep on that side. Her head is flat in one side; I was worried so until I found this pillow. This pillow helps her to sleep straight and is helping to even the head.

I originally bought this because I noticed my 5 week old son was starting to develop a flat spot on the right side from always tilting his head the same way (and he’d always move it back no matter how many times I adjusted him). It’s already helped with the flat spot AND my son is SLEEPING BETTER! And I mean significantly better immediately the first night we used it. Normally it takes swaddling, rocking, setting him down as gently as possible, he wakes up and fusses, take out the binky, walk him around again… you get the picture. Now we can put him down even pretty awake and boom he settles down within 10-15 seconds and sleeps for longer too! We’re trying to stretch the first night time feeding and we’re getting so frustrated that he always woke before 2-3 hours. The first night with this pillow he slept for 5 hours straight! I could have cried after having that long of a stretch of sleep. (Obviously I still wake him after 2-3 hours after that stretch but MAN is that one stretch essential). And now he is sleeping at least 4 hours that first stretch and most nights more than 5. Game changer. So just save yourself some sleepless nights and buy it!

My baby hates tummy time. Like the moment she realizes you're laying her that way she screams. So that resulted in a flat head. Around month 3 I noticed it and decided to buy this. I would let her lay on it during supervised naps and all day. It helped some but about month 4 she started being really active and didnt want to lay on the pillow and also wanted to constantly be held so she spent less time on it. But I noticed the difference just from the little while she used it! I'd just suggest buying this ASAP that way your baby will spend more time on it.So the product is soft but firm. The pillow didnt bother her at all and I like the style of it.

I do think the pillow has helped with my 3 month olds head. I’ve noticed it’s not as flat after using it for 1 month. However, the fabric is like a Jersey/t-shirt material and it has rubbed the hair off the back of her head. Some of her hair is now stuck to the pillow and now she has a bald spot. I know it’s not hurting her and her hair will grow back but I think the company should definitely change the material it’s made of.

We have a beautiful baby but he had a flat head from lying on his back. The pediatrician asked if we were concerned and we asked "should we be". She said our baby was perfectly healthy but many parents elected to go the route of a "helmet". It was our choice. We did some research and found out these helmets run thousands of dollars, the baby has to wear it 23 hours a day, etc etc. It seemed like a lot of money to put our son through something we felt would be extremely discomforting to him. It seemed almost like torture to have our baby have a ''perfect head"We tried this pillow which was under $20 in hopes it might help. In just a months time from using this in his crib, car seat, etc his head is now rounding out in back. It was truly amazing what Mother Nature did once we took the pressure off that one spot in his head. I normally don't write reviews on products but this was so significant I felt I wanted to share. Before you get your baby a helmet try one of these. I am not a doctor and this is not a medical opinion, but it worked for us!

My daughter is 6 weeks and is starting to develop plagiocephaly due to a positional preference. She always lays with her head turned to one side. We reposition it when she’s asleep and find her turning it back in a few minutes. We’ve tried everything recommended by the doctor including rolling towels up and putting it next to her head (while supervised). Nothing has worked as good as this pillow and it made her less cranky than the alternatives. She actually seems to sleep better with it, once she adjusted. Her head shape already seems to be evening out and definitely isn’t getting any worse. Since it helps her to sleep without turning her head to one side, I’m hoping that also helps to eliminate her preference. It is very lightweight and I don’t have concerns about the baby using it while sleeping, though I use it supervised in her cosleeper. I’m a paranoid Mommy, but I don’t have fears of suffocation using this pillow because it is thin and lays flat. I tested it and found it very breathable. That being said, if my baby was younger or had less head control, I might have more concerns.

My son had a flat spot on the right side of his head when he was 2 months old, and was eventually going to be evaluated for a helmet if it didn't improve. I found this pillow online and we used it consistently for 2 months. We used it in his swing, in his crib, when he laid on the floor, etc. He's now 4 months old and he rolls around a lot now so he doesn't stay put on the pillow, BUT the shape of his head has improved so much. Its catching up to the left side and is getting nice and rounded out! I am convinced that the pillow helped to distribute the pressure more evenly on his head when he slept on his back. His pediatrician doesn't feel he needs a helmet and is not concerned at all. It was such a relief.
