Solid floating device with multiple float boards. The downside is, the design is a little complicated as the removable pieces are not easy to take off or reinstall. There is a piece that snaps in place so you can wrap around your kiddo and is not easy to undo. It takes solid adult grip and dexterity which I think is a good safety measure. It seems to be comfortable for swimming and works as intended. Fits around a small body only.

Wear on the front! There aren't any photos to show this so I thought for some reason it was to be worn on the back.It still worked on the back, but I didn't feel safe being farther than arms length from my daughter. We finally got smart and tried it on the front and we were both much more confident! The straps are frustratingly difficult to adjust, but I wouldn't change a thing about that because if they're really hard to get adjust, they're going to be very stable and won't come off so it's well worth the difficulty having peace of mind, knowing they're not going to come loose while she's swimming.I love that it frees her arms, I love that it takes up less space in the swim bag than a traditional life jacket or floaty, and I love that it's adjustable based on her water confidence to eventually wean her off it altogether!

This is one of the best swim training aids I have ever utilized. It allows me to get the children completely horizontal without sacrificing safety. You can slowly move them down from four to one to no assistance at all. This particular model is a larger model so it’s great if you have a child that’s a little bit older that might be really nervous. It’s gonna really keep them buoyant and show them that being in the water is safe and fun.I’ve been a swim instructor for 20 years and when I was first learning how to swim 1 million years ago, we used what we called the bubble, which was a foam shaped football that was strapped to our back. This is just a more modern version of thatIf you are working with children and they’re learning how to swim this is something you absolutely should get. With that being said, I’m going to give a very important. Do not ever put this on a child and leave them alone. it will flip them forward, and they will be unable to get their head out of the water if they are not experienced tonight this has to be done with only adult supervision. If you are not gonna be able to watch your child like a hawk, then get them the puddle jumpers

This is a pretty decent swimming training aid for very new swimmers. It's just a bouyant set of blocks you can strap to a child's back or chest to give them some time to feel the water. It's not a replacement for traditional swimming learning, like floating on your back with no assistance. You can remove each colored layer to reduce the aid of this device, which is important. This works by pulling up the somewhat loose strap to a child's shoulders. If it's pulling up way too much, that's not actually very helpful. So reduce the assistance by removing one float at a time until you have it right. The strap is very easy to fall out of and not really intended to secure the swimmer. That's OK with me, but you definitely need a good swimming with the learner at all times. This is not something you want to depend on. It's only to help the swimmer learn to be comfortable and push their way around the water.Despite these limitations, I think this is a great device. It leaves the arms and legs free, which helps the swimmer learn how to swim. It isn't expensive. It's durable and should last long enough to go through many swimmers before it falls apart.Just manage your expectations as to what this is, and use it just to get your swimmer competent enough to not need it, and you'll be happy with this purchase.

My five-year-old son loves this floater as it gives him enough buoyancy to stay afloat & swim much better than the arm floaties or swimming vest he used to wear. With this one, it frees his arms to actually learn to swim and keeps him in a forward position, which is much more helpful when swimming. I initially had my doubts when I put it on him, as the straps kept falling into his waist, but in the water, it stayed up toward his upper back and helped him stay afloat and move forward. However, if there is one thing they should improve, it is the adjustment straps, which are not easy to adjust & require much effort to get them right. In the end, I just gave up since the straps were still fitting, but I couldn’t get them tighter. Regardless, I thoroughly recommend this for kids learning to swim.

Perfect size for my 6 year old. The strap is sturdy and has a strong clip. I like that as the child needs less help you can remove the foam blocks. There are instructions printed on it as well on how to use. It doesn't take up much space which is nice if you need to fit it in a suitcase. So much less bulky than a life jacket or floaties that hinder their ability to learn to swim, but this way they don't feel like they're left floating on their own.

Pool's not quite open yet, but will be in a couple weeks and we plan on putting this flotation device to good use. Right now, it's bathtub tested to float the baby. We love that the clip is an extra "press point" to make it harder for the child to open. You have to press all three points at one time to open it up. Easy enough for an adult with full sized hands, but not for any child that would be in this device. Like that we can adjust the buoyancy by removing pads and that they print the directions right on the pink pad, not that it's difficult, but it's nice to have them handy for somebody not familiar with it. In general, it seems to be of good quality and we have no concerns using it with our grandkids - although they are always closely supervised at the pool. This is a teaching aid, not a life jacket! Always supervise around water! (Seems silly to have to say that.)
