Very easy to build in very sturdy. Works perfectly with the hammock we bought separately. It's a beautiful piece. We're already using it in our backyard. It also comes with wheels and it's very easy to move around. The size is perfect for just about any hammock you have because you can adjust it in both height and length. Highly recommended.

As a big guy, I’ve always hated that most hammock stands couldn’t handle me sharing it with my spouse, or kid. Well, this one does the trick. Holy heck, it’s well-built – sturdy, solid, and actually holds up to its 450 lb capacity without any wobble or creaking. The wheels are a nice touch for moving it around, and the setup was a breeze. If you’re looking for a stand that can handle the whole crew, this is the one.

This took about 30 min to put together, it came with good instructions except they left out one part. They identified all the parts in the box for the stand, but there are two screw knobs they didn't tell you what to do with. You need them on the cross bar on the ground for adjusting the length of the stand. The box it came in was very large and heavy since this is made of steel pipes put together. There is a wheel so it can be more easily moved around. It will have a better stability on flat, level, hard surface so be aware if in rock or grass you may need to have extra support around the legs to not wobble, like propping up with more rocks. If your hammock has loops this is great because the end arms have hooks and you don't need to add a chain or anything. It states it can hold up to 450 lbs, but make sure your hammock can hold that too!

The hammock stand is strong and durable, capable of supporting significant weight. While adding webbing may be necessary, the stand is adaptable for use with a tree hammock. Mine came with extra webbing. Assembly is easy but requires tools, which are provided in the form of three wrenches. A concern is the potential accumulation of water within the frame. Despite recommendations to prevent water ingress, the stand is designed for outdoor use, and we don’t have a patio cover. Recent rainfall has necessitated tilting the stand to drain any collected water. Applying wax to the stand as suggested in the instructions might help preserve it, although completely preventing water entry would involve finding ingress points and possibly using waterproof tape. Aside from the issue with water, I am satisfied with the performance of this stand.

I was able to put this together in 15 minutes, although the provided wrenches are the bare minimum and if you have a metric socket set and/or an adjustable wrench you should definitely use those.In terms of strength, it's made of pretty thick metal tubing, and whenever the stand isn't at its maximum size, there are 2 layers of tubes in most places. The joints where the "arms" meet the base are reinforced with metal bars as well. We had 2 adults on a hammock and it felt like we could have put 2 more. The stand probably exceeds its official strength rating, to be honest. The legs are quite stable as long as you don't put the stand sideways on a hill or something. I never felt it rocking or wanting to move around when I was in the hammock.The quality of the materials and finishing was good. There were no areas where the paint wasn't properly applied or anything like that, and the hardware included with the kit was of good quality. The few welds where the reinforcement bars are located look good. There are even little finishing pieces that aren't really necessary, like covers for the ends of the telescoping tubes, and black plastic covers for the nuts and bolts.I would recommend this stand, especially for the price compared to other, much lighter hammock stands that you can get at big-box stores.

Moved into a house with a HUGE yard and wanted to add this to my outdoor furniture for my son (he's 38).This is amazing and I knew from how heavy the box was the quality would be great ... and I was right.Instructions and everything you need to build this comes and must have been easy because there was no 'navy vet cursing - loudly - scaring the dog' lol going on and it didn't seem to take much time.It is metal and it would take something massive to bend or break this thing.My son (he's an airplane mechanic) says it will easily hold the weight advertised and possibly then some.He was very impressed with the construction. That's good enough for me.Now, I need to get him a hammock! Unfortunately, (he's a real jokester) he wants a banana hammock (NO NOT THAT KIND lol) but a hammock with a banana design all over it. smhLooking forward to getting a much different hammock lol and getting pictures of him relaxing in the summer while watching the planes go by ... he purposely bought a house close to the airport ... he just loves planes lol.I would 100% recommend this item.
