Uses a refrigerant for propellent (on the health hazard list). Fittings are EXTREMELY difficult to put together. Not enough pressure to anything except make a mess! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

There is not nearly enough air in the tiny can provided to do much more than very small jobs. I was able to attach it to a compressor, but water in the hose line makes it unusable, so I have to buy a moisture trap. I've spent a lot of money trying to get this to work and have moved on. All I wanted to do was etch a small plate and I didn't even get that out of it.

I use this for powder coating buck tail lures. Very easy to use. Would be more convenient if the jar lid was separate and not attached to the unit-that way the siphons would go with the jar, and changing colors would be more convenient. Five stars because I'm not using it for it's intended purpose, but it still works well.

Doing the job but the canister of air doesn't last very long. Be prepared with spares if you want to do anything that requires more than a few shots of the blast medium.

Got this to sandblast/refinish pistols. Quality of product is fine, but does not work well for sandblasting guns/parts/accessories; it took me about 3 hours to blast my 1911. This was the first and last time I will use it for this type work, i went out and bought an actual abrasive blasting gun to take this things place. This would work well for extremely small items, not much else.

I really liked the prospect of sand blasting vs. etching of glass, and the only three aspects to know about beforehand is that the trigger was a bit difficult for me, but nothing I could be really critical of, and that the aluminum oxide material is extremly fine and goes everywhere, so it needs to be contained well in a totally enclosed box of some kind, and strained with a very fine sive to recycle properly. Also make sure your air compressor can deliver 40 to 80 (max) psi., which air brush compressors may not do and will produce a weaker than desired etch. The stencil also needs to be snug against the glass.

I used this mini-sandblaster with some 120 grit aluminum oxide to remove the coating on multi firearms. I attached it to a 100 psi air compressor from Harbor Freight and adjusted to the pressure I needed. This thing worked perfectly and beyond what I thought it would.Easy to use, easy to spray and direct at the object ..didnt overspray all over..actually did outside on a tarp and into big canister.Wear a mask, wear eye protection!!!!!!!! I bought gloves, but didnt end up using them..didnt spray out hard enough to hurt you at all, just messy and you dont want in your mouth or eyes.
