This table looks so cute assembled and seems sturdy. I'd read some reviews that the bottom shelves would collapse, but my table came with an addendum to the assembly instructions saying that all three shelves now had a metal brace in the middle. Hopefully that's in response to other people's complaints and fixes the problem. I've only just assembled it, so I can't comment as to the durability, but it seems well sized and sturdy. The white is a pure white.Assembly was relatively easy and straight forward. The instructions could have used a few more words, but they were pretty simple to figure out. I will note, though, that you do need 2 people for about 5 minutes of the work (took about 30-40 min total). You start with one short side, attach all of the 8 pieces for the long sides (two at the top shelf per side), then slide in the boards for the shelves. Then you have to get all 8 of those long sides to fit into place on the final short side. It's not overly challenging, but I tried for a while by myself and just couldn't get it - getting one in place would pop another out. With the second person, you get all of one side in place, hold that side down, then the other person does their side. Took less than 2 minutes with the second person, so save yourself time and frustration and get another pair of hands for that part! Most of the pieces in the set are not labeled, but figuring out what is what is fairly straight forward. The two exceptions are: the long side bars for the 3 shelves look identical, but the ones for the top shelf actually have a slightly larger groove (because the shelf is thicker - a good thing!). They are labeled, but it's easy to miss it, even when you're looking out for it. The second exception is the 3 shelves themselves. One is thicker, but none of them are labeled, so just make sure to check and see which is the thickest and that is the top shelf. In my set that one was unfinished on the bottom (which is a shame because you actually may see it, unlike any of the others). On a final note, the table doesn't come with covers for the screw holes on the side. Not a huge deal, but the holes are fairly large, so with 8 on each side, it'd be nice if they came with a little plastic piece to pop in.My one complaint is with the warranty. The paper inside the box says that you have 30 days from the date of purchase to note any missing or defective parts. I understand they want to protect themselves, but with baby items, there's a good chance other people are buying them for you and you have no control over how quickly you get them. Or, like me, you weren't ready to assemble all of the furniture right away. Luckily I had no issues, but just be aware that if you do, and it happens to be more than 30 days since it was purchased (and if it was a gift good luck even figuring that out), you may be out of luck.Final random note: my box had two pieces of cherry board (I ordered in white) that were damaged. I was worried at first that they had sent the wrong pieces, then I was worried because they were damaged, but they actually weren't part of the set. I don't know if they were purposely there for extra packaging (one at each short end of the box) or what, but it was really odd. Turned out to be fine, but just don't panic right away if the first piece you come across is the wrong color and broken!

This changing table was everything I needed in a table, from the color and shape to the functionality. Assembly is required, and does take some time, but is well worth it. It looked beautiful with the bed I had gotten separately, and was plenty sturdy enough for me to trust with putting the weight of my child on top with no fear of falling, even as he grew, and never had any problems. The lip around the top edge is also helpful in not worrying if your child will roll right off with the slightest move. I would recommend this changing table to anyone!

I am a review fanatic and searched for days before deciding on what to purchase for our little one. This was to go in our room to make things easier for middle of the night changes, etc. I was a little concerned when I read about the flimsy aspect in some of the reviews. Let me tell you, I feel completely comfortable with this thing. I've done many lean-on tests and I am definitely no light weight preggers, lol. Anyways, this looks fabulous and is great quality for the price you pay. Putting it together took about 20 minutes (my husband did it for me). It was not difficult and I did not hear him complain, so that must say something!!! :) I accessorized it with black basket storage bins from the container store and it looks AWESOME. Baby is due in 2 months, so I can update this review if anything should change. But as of now, all in all, I would definitely buy again. I don't regret my choice at all in any way--I absolutely love it.

I almost didn't buy this piece because of some of the iffy reviews but I am glad I focused on the positives. It's a $90 piece of baby furniture, you get what you pay for ... BUT this product surprised us in a happy way. It is not rickety in the least. I told my husband about some of the reviews and he was baffled as to how some people thought that the top was flimsy or this would be unsafe. It is NOT remotely flimsy or unsafe, and we have a crazy mover and shaker baby who loves continuously thumping his feet and drumming his heels on the changing table. I never worry about him on this product--esp with the sides on the top..not all products have that.It is clearly marked what wood piece goes on the top vs the 2 shelves so make sure you are putting the right wood piece on the top--it's the strongest of the 3. Also, this is a cheapo product so yeah sometimes the holes aren't aligned or you have to MAKE a screw hole but assuming you have basic tools that isn't a problem. My husband put this together in less than 15 min and double and triple checked all the screws and the sturdiness. We love this product, our baby is now 4 months old and we bought it when he was 3 days old. After he outgrows it, we'll put it in his closet for 'storage'...love the open shelves and the cherry color is a true dark cherry, not too red and not too dark. I saw some similarly priced items in competitor stores and they LOOKED cheap, with lots of easily nicked areas. This product does not look cheap. We put this in our family room and it blends nicely with other furniture due to it's simple style.Absolutely GREAT changing table for the price and we had Prime so 2 day ship was free. You can't beat that!!

we've ordered a changing table from badger basket before so we knew what to expect as far as the material they use for the table surface. It's not solid wood, more like particle board. posts and supporting structures were solid wood (MDF?) though.it was easy to put together, did it in around 15 minutes.shipping was really fast.awesome changing table considering alternatives cost about $100 more.we ordered 2 extra supporting brackets for $16 from badger basket to support the bottom 2 shelves. the company should consider making it standard for this product.
