They’re not bad, but they’re not as pictured either. If you are on the petite side, these are going to look like cropped pants, not shorts. The rise is extremely long. They’re meant to sit slightly below the belly button, but if you wear them there, the crotch is going to hang a good 3-4” below where it should be. The part that annoyed my daughter the most is that the finish isn’t remotely as pictured. There’s some fading on the thighs and on the seat area, but overall, the picture looks like a worn, dirty-fade denim. The actual shorts are a really clean, bright blue denim, with some strategically placed fading. Just a completely different look than pictured. And we ordered two different sizes, because there’s no size chart on this item. Well, there is, but it says something about the “foot opening,” but doesn’t tell you waist sizes. We originally ordered a small, based on the seller’s size chart on another product. They were really big, so we ordered the XS. Still big and both had the same finish, that’s not at all as pictured. FWIW, my daughter is about 5 ft, so we expected them to be longer than on the model. But the crotch is much longer than it looks in the photos.
