I have had to mark this product down for one reason...The handle keeps coming off when you are using it!No amount of knocking it against a wall or floor will make the two items stay together so it maybe time for the epoxy resin trick!Warning to you if you buy this file, when the handle comes off you are faced with the sharp end of the file unprotected, make sure you don't now stick it into your hand on the forward stroke.

.... One file...came in a box 4" x 14" x 28" ......20.....8....inches.....to hold this item.... And the rest the scrumpled up paper ... Files fine.. Bought as a steel with it being rounded works great. 3 swipes per side, done, a steel takes effort, 50 swipes per sharpen, a novice can not use a steel...anyone can use this brutal bastard file to put an edge on a dull blade

Bought this to do one job- which it did. But i thought it was 1/2'' dia- it is not, it is about 3/8'' dia- so buyers please note
