I purchased this specifically to sharpen my saws. Bahco makes the best file for this purpose. There was a world of difference before and after sharpening my saw with this file. I recommend this for anyone with a sharpenable steel saw. If you have made the mistake of purchasing a hardened steel saw blade do not make the mistake of trying to use a quality file like this one on the hardened steel as it will break the teeth of the file instead of sharpening the saw. I am very happy with my purchase.

This is a great file! Does an outstanding job on handsaws as well as other filing jobs. I also used mine to restore damaged threads on a machine bolt. I highly recommend them.

Good quality saw file but comes as shown so you'll need to buy a handle as well.

The file seems perfectly fine, however I bought this because I thought it was a pack of ten files, as the seller said it was in the questions and a recent review also said there were ten. When I got the package there was only one, which was really disappointing.
