I didn't need the broiler at the time, but thought "why not?!" for only ten bucks more than what most were selling the lower element for, I tend to go through elements way too often! I haven't had one of these off-brand elements last more than a year so fingers crossed this is a winner. Installing is extremely easy, you don't even need to pull it out as long as you flip the breaker to the appliance. There are just two sheet metal screws you can access from the front and then unclip the wiring, plug back in and you are good to go. Heat is identical to OEM and I am pleased so far.
